Hotel in zona Parkside Mall, Greater Vancouver

I have stayed here many times and find the hotel and amenities are perfect for my business travels. The excellent location across from Landsdowne Mall is perfect to stroll around and Skytrain is only 5 mins away.

Hotel location is perfect. It’s right next to the Richmond Night Market and has included parking in the garage right next to it. The staff, minus one experience, was all very nice and helpful. Our room was very cozy and perfect for what we needed. The AC blew nice and cold. My only complaint that could’ve brought the rating up higher was that our toilet’s water kept rising and would get self clogged even though we literally just had got there and just used the bathroom to pee. On our way out, we decided to go the front desk to ask someone to service it while we were out. They instead just asked me “so do you want a plunger?”. We had somewhere to be so I just said sure, maybe I can just take a look at it when I’m back. Well, after getting the toilet to flush, it just clogged again. So we pretty much had to use the plunger every single time we needed to use the bathroom which was really annoying. It really brought the experience of staying there, down.

Il nostro soggiorno è iniziato molto bene. Il personale del Front Desk era molto amichevole e ci ha lasciato controllare in anticipo. Ho fatto una doccia prima di andare al concerto che eravamo in città e ho scoperto che il tubo era stato piazzato e il tubo non era disturbato. Ho ricevuto un tx prima chiedendo come usare la stanza e di testo se abbiamo bisogno di qualcosa. Quindi io di testo che il tubo era sta svanendo. Non ho ricevuto una risposta e ho lasciato la stanza per uscire. Pensavamo che sarebbe tornato indietro il disastro, ma invece non è tornato a nulla; siamo andati al divano per chiedere a un piastrelle di provare a correggersi come era stata 7 ore e ancora nessuna risposta. Abbiamo cercato di mettere in contatto il drenaggio, ma non ha aiutato. Quando siamo tornati al pistone, la persona del desktop ci ha offerto un'altra stanza, ma essere fuori pj's e dopo mezzanotte siamo rimasti in camera. Dicono che la manutenzione sarebbe tornata alle 7:00. Andammo a controllare alle 11:00, ma non c'era risposta a tx e nessuna persona di manutenzione per riparare il tubo. La persona di ufficio ci scusò e ci offriva buoni per il colazione per il ristorante. Andammo al ristorante, ma ci darebbero solo bacon o salsa e uova. Essere vegane e vegetariani che non andava a lavorare. Il ristorante ha detto che non potevano offrire altro. Abbiamo tornato al divano frontale e il manager non permetterebbe alla persona divano di fare altro per se non volevamo McDonald’s. Sto guardando in attesa di tornare a casa stasera per fare la doccia.

L'ospite è molto amichevole. La stanza era molto pulita. Tutto andava bene. L'ospite mi ha detto di chiedere direttamente l'ora di arrivo e era molto flessibile. Prima di partire, ha offerto deliziosi colazione e snack. In futuro, mi prenoterei di nuovo questo posto.

Il trasporto è conveniente, ma c'è un bar giù, e l'isolamento sonoro non è buono. Le persone che hanno paura del rumore potrebbero non riuscire a dormire. Ci sono solo scale e si deve portare il bagaglio in alto.

We were in town to attend a family birthday which did not include dinner so I chose this hotel because i wanted to go to the iconic Tiki Bar. Upon checking in we were pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness of the room with mostly original decor still being used that gave it the iconic vibe. When we decided it was time to eat we found out from the desk girl that all the eating establishments at the hotel were closed for renovation. This should have been divulged at the time I booked; it is important information as there is no places close by to eat & the price of the room was not discounted to reflect the lack of facilities. We were also concerned about the safety of our vehicle but everything was fine & we were surprised how quiet it’s was (we were facing the rear parking area). The bed was comfy & we slept well.

Thank you for the opportunity to describe my Inn at the Quay experience. I was booked for a day procedure at Royal Columbian Hospital at 6:00AM on Saturday May 20. Because I was travelling from out of town and had to be driven home (as a requirement of the procedure) I elected to travel by train to Vancouver and then New Westminster on the day before, Friday. On Tuesday May 16 I booked a room at your hotel for the night of the night of Friday May 19 for $389.00 ex-taxes. My plan was to take a cab to the Hospital and then my daughter was then going to drive to town to pick me up and drive me home after the procedure on Saturday. After travelling to New Westminster I had time to kill because I called the Inn at the Quay to see if I could get an early check in but was told that you were very busy and that was not possible. The hospital recommends attending with only your care card for security reasons. For this reason I had my BC Care Card and the credit card I used to book the room in my cellular phone case. During my wanders I lost my phone. Fortunately I had a significant amount of cash so I got a cab immediately and attended at your hotel. I explained my situation to the clerk on the desk and she said that she could not check me in without the credit card I used to book the room. I asked her if you would charge that card with the room price if I had not shown up and she agreed that that was the case. When I asked if she could just charge the card and let me stay she said that the situation was different and was against your policy. I questioned her further and she summoned a person form the back office who agreed that the situation was completely different and actually said “Sorry, we can’t help you.” When I suggested cancelling the credit card transaction and paying in cash that suggestion was also turned down. Reason was lost on these two minions that are trained to be slavishly obedient to your rules and policies. I am sure that if you question these two they will agree that I was polite and courteous throughout our encounter. After several attempts at circumventing their indifference I felt that I should leave before I started to get mad. As a competent, attentive and businesslike hotelier I am sure you are aware of the saturation in your market on any given day. If you harken back to May 19 you will recall that all of the other hotels in New Westminster and as far as Port Coquitlam were completely booked. No matter, I was able to avail myself of a comfortable chair in the admitting lobby of the Royal Columbian Hospital from 4:00PM on Friday until 6:00AM the following morning. Except of course when I had to leave the admitting lobby while the janitors polished the floors. Because the Emergency Room lobby was full I was able to meet some of the interesting local street residents that were outside at 2:30AM. Quando abbiamo controllato la Ramada da Wyndham Coquitlam, il cameriere del fronte non ci ha detto che dovremmo andare fuori, attraverso il parcheggio per arrivare alla piscina interna. Non ci ha nemmeno detto che dovremmo andare al divano per prendere i vestiti per la piscina; dovevamo chiedere ad un altro ospite come trovare la piscina, andammo là, solo per tornare al divano per prendere i vestiti. Avrebbe dovuto chiedere se usiamo la piscina, dicci dove si trova e dammi le tue biancheria mentre ci registravamo, ma abbiamo scoperto da altri ospiti. Una volta arrivati alla piscina, abbiamo scoperto che l'hotel aveva affittato la piscina per imparare a nuotare di una mezza dozzina di grida, gridando ”dueling” che stava esplodendo costantemente. La nostra stanza era al primo piano e al corridoio dal desk front di questo ”hotel non fumatori”. è stato estremamente fumante. Sono allergico al fumo e questo mi rende molto incomodo. Mia figlia ha suggerito che il personale ”fumo fuori” è probabilmente vicino all'ingresso dell'aria pulita per il sistema di condizionamento dell'aria. Questo deve essere cambiato! Non consiglio alle persone di rimanere in questo hotel.

La posizione è davvero buona. L'hotel è appena a piedi dalla stazione di Gateway 10-minute. Inoltre, c'è un supermercato e diverse caffetterie vicine. Il desk front e il personale sono molto utile e amichevole. Le camere sono accoglienti e super pulite. Il colazione è un pranzo continentale standard. Le difficoltà sono che non ci sono acqua e scarpe in bottiglie nelle camere, e che l'hotel è molto vicino alla strada. L'esperienza complessiva è piuttosto buona. Decente 4 su 5.
