Somewhere Inn Calabogie

This was the absolute perfect little getaway! The rooms are so cute and cozy—thoughtfully designed with all the right touches to help you relax and recharge. The atmosphere is peaceful, inviting, and effortlessly cool. There are lots of great restaurants and activities nearby, but honestly, you may not want to leave your room! The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, making the whole experience feel extra special. Can’t wait to come back!

The room is super cute and well outfitted with all the things you need to relax and retreat for a nice weekend. 😎 The staff were really nice and responsive. We love the nightly fire pit, the room fireplace and the stack of games in our room. We had a few issues… ants was the big one. The staff responded with ant traps but probably an issue worth investigating. Our room shared a water tank with the room beside (which had a bath), so one day the hot water in our room cut off 5 mins into the shower. Not a problem on the other days since the occupants left. 😋. All-in-all, we did really love it, would book again and recommend the Inn.

Loved the wine bar. A great apres ski stop with local beer, wines and interesting snacks. Em was great, giving us lots of tips on things to do in the area. We’ll have to try the sauna & cold plunge another time. And the campfire + s’more option!!!

I stumbled upon this place by chance, and I’m so glad I did. It was exactly what I needed to relax and unwind. The bathtub was perfect for soaking away stress, and the fireplace created just the right ambiance. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the upscale decor added a nice touch. The room was spotless, clearly reflecting the owners’ pride in their business. Jen was wonderful—she left a thoughtful, personalized note welcoming me and encouraging me to enjoy my time. She was also easy to communicate with. The location was beautifully peaceful, making it the ideal spot for a relaxing escape. I’ll definitely be booking again!

Room was spacious and very clean. Loved the gas fireplace and the large shower. Bed was comfortable. Really enjoyed the sauna. What made it special was the attentiveness of the staff. Communication was through text, inviting us for a free drink at the lounge, offering to start the sauna or the outside fire pit etc. All the services were offered before we even had to ask for anything Thanks Jen and Emma!

The experience overall was mid. The rooms are nice and aesthetic, but that's really it. As other reviewers have said, there is absolutely no one available after hours, with the automated message telling you to call 911 in emergency. Their replies say this is reasonable because they "operate like an Air Bnb". Having stayed at many Air Bnbs, this is not the norm at all and totally unacceptable. I was the only person on the property the night I stayed (thankful for this as I'm seeing the other reviewers comments about the thin walls!) but this made me super nervous as a single woman. I also could not get the heat in the room to function and spent the night with in what felt like a sauna, with both heaters loudly clicking on and off, keeping me awake. Speaking of Sauna, couldn't get that up to temperature either, and with no one to help me, I didn't even get to use that, which was one of the main reasons I booked! I even made a point of asking the staff to show me how it worked before they left for the day. They advertise the sauna and cold plunge to the public for $25, but don't have a public shower. I texted in advance to ensure that snow removal would be happening in time for me to make it to the ski hill. They assured me it would be there at 7. Guy was not there until 7:45 and cleared my stairs and exit last. There's an arrogance to their service as well, as they didn't take any of my feedback seriously.
