Hotel a Great Tew

"È stato sorprendente che io abbia trovato un hotel così meraviglioso. Le loro camere sono così pulite, il colazione così deliziosa, e viene con un pub in piedi all'hotel. È più importante, si può godere di una fantastica tour di Hook Norton, Oxford. Sulla strada, vedrete questa antica chiesa con più di 100 anni di storia. Poi si va lungo le strade, belle case in stile inglese sono populate dai vostri occhi. Si sente solo che dovete rimanere più a lungo per una vista così bella che accade solo nei film prima."

"Booked this hotel for an evening on Trip, which noted that breakfast was included in the price, and part of the reason for booking. We travelled, we arrived, we booked in: “your room does not include breakfast, but can be purchased at extra charge”. While checking in an American lady was talking to the other person on the desk about how hot her room was and the fact that there was no air conditioning, this should have been a warning sign. Went to our room dropped out stuff off, went and had an evening out, got back to the room, in a short space of time the room begins feeling hot, too much so for a comfortable nights sleep. Where’s the thermostat… oh no, refer back to the lads complaining earlier, there is not thermostat, there is no aircon. Check if the windows open, one in the bedroom, one in the bathroom: Open the bathroom one, oh heck, this opens out onto the room next doors balcony (something we didn’t have), which is then both a privacy and a security issue, as they could look into the bathroom, or indeed get through the windows if they really wanted to, so not an option. Open the window in the bedroom, it’s right night to another rooms balcony, and whoever is staying there is up late taking and we can hear it all. Eventually get to sleep, 04:30 first car starts up in the car park, which is gravel and now making an amount of noise. Made reception aware on checking out, didn’t seem in the least bit interested. And let’s face it, they already know, we’d heard someone else complain the day before."

"E' fantastico! L'hotel è buono. Non riuscivamo a trovare il WIFI e la doccia era buona, poteva migliorare con una testa di doccia diversa. Inoltre, la stanza era calda e pulita, il legno era morbido e caldo, la doccia aveva il riscaldamento sotterraneo che era bello. Vi forniscono un asciugacapelli e un buffet-sala colazione con tè e caffè illimitato. Mi piacerebbe rimanere ancora lì."

"The hotel was better than I expected. I booked it 30 min before arriving. I was early but was able to check in earlier than stated. I requested a double room ( solo traveller) and was give a spacious, clean room with plenty of natural light. Although basic and in need of modernisation I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. It was also great value for money. Location was perfect. Just off a busy road so ideal as a mid stop from motorway towards Oxfordshire/Cotswolds etc. I had their set lunch menu which was delicious. It was a beautiful sunny afternoon so ate in their lovely courtyard garden. It was beautiful. I had no objection from staff for eating outside instead of their restaurant. In fact all the staff were pleasant and helpful. I took a walk around the area. It was safe and had wonderful views. Breakfast was great. Cooked full English ,pastries, fruit, juices etc.. Definitely worth staying. It has charm and surrounded by fields and a good countryside vibe."
