bell'hotel storico situato a 10 metri dalla piazza principale di Graz e dall'incrocio delle principali linee del tram: situazione più centrale non esiste. nelle immediate vicinanze ci sono dei musei, bei palazzi barocchi, ristoranti, caffè e il più maestoso grande magazzino della città. camera singola 320 al 3° piano abbastanza spaziosa con vasca da bagno e affaccio su un vicoletto silenziosissimo, bella TV grande. prima colazione un po' cara a 17€ extra, ma buffet abbondante e variegato. splendida la sala al terreno del grande atrio che caratterizza così tipicamente l'hotel con i suoi tre piani e le centinaia di piante che lo adornano e che danno quasi l'idea di stare in un'immensa serra: il lucernaio sul tetto dà molta luce e accresce l'atmosfera. obbligo di indossare mascherina dentro l'hotel tranne che mentre si fa la prima colazione; reception circondata di plexiglass; addette in turno sempre isolate. il caffè che normalmente occuperebbe la sala colazione nell'atrio e funzionerebbe durante il giorno è attualmente chiuso per via del Covid. il bar di sera invece è aperto. tariffa buona trovata sul sito dell'hotel e scelta finale azzeccata e raccomandabilissima.

Ottima posizione, a pochi passi dall'opera. Splendido albergo, moderno e molto urban, con interni curati, colori caldi, staff gentile. Sono arrivato molto presto la mattina e mi hanno subito assegnato una stanza, senza sovrapprezzo. Attaccato alla reception si trova un bar con un ampia scelta di gin di tutti i paesi dove questa catena di alberghi è presente. La mia camera dava sulla piazza principale, di per sé assai trafficata, ma l'isolazione delle finestre è ottima e non si sente quasi niente. Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo (ho pagato 120 euro). L'unico neo: la camera era piuttosto piccola. Ma pur sempre grande quanto basta

Abbiamo prenotato per due notti tramite Booking. Al momento della prenotazione ho richiesto una culla in quanto ho un bambino di 4 mesi. La culla c’era ma la stanza che mi è stata data era nell’edificio adiacente a quello principale e per arrivarci c’erano delle scale. Scale che ho dovuto fare più volte al giorno con il passeggino. Ho fatto presente sia al check in che al check out il problema e al check out mi è stato detto che la prossima volta posso prenotare un’altra tipologia di stanza, sita nell’edificio principale. Peccato che il prezzo sia molto superiore. E comunque per due notti abbiamo pagato 290 euro, mica poco. Inoltre la stanza (numero 9) affacciava su un cortile interno molto brutto da vedere e rumoroso alle 7 di mattina. Segnalo inoltre che se la stanza viene prenotata direttamente tramite il loro sito, si ha uno sconto sul parcheggio adiacente. Noi poveri mortali che abbiamo prenotato su Booking invece abbiamo parcheggiato oltre il ponte difronte ad un prezzo comunque conveniente. Alcune note positive: ottima posizione dell’hotel e buona colazione. Per riassumere: mi aspettavo di più da un 4 stelle, servizio non all’altezza.

I do not recommend staying at the B&B Hotel - Graz Hbf -- details are below, but to sum it up, the condition of the hotel room was not appropriate for guests and we should not have been booked, and nothing was done to resolve the horrible smell in the room. My family and I booked two rooms for a weekend in July to stay in Graz to attend the Austrian Grand Prix, and have a hotel in close proximity to the train station. Because there were 4 people in our group, we needed to book two rooms. We were traveling with our young children so we requested rooms near to each other and were assigned rooms next door to each other. The smell and odor in one of the rooms that I was staying in with one of my children was horrible. It was coming from the shower drain, like something was rotting or clogged in there. It smelled as though someone vomited or put something decaying in the shower drain, along with cigarette smoke. It made the entire room smell disgusting. I spoke to the front desk attendant on Saturday morning and was told housekeeping would attend to it immediately. When we returned Saturday evening after being away all day, the smell was still overpowering. I was told the hotel was full and nothing could be done for us. I had the nighttime desk attendant come up to smell the room. I again spoke to the front desk attendant on Sunday morning and was told the room had been checked but nothing could be done. I asked her to please go into the room to understand the terrible smell and to move our room for Sunday night. We were moved to another room that evening since there were rooms available then. Even though it was not very warm outside, both rooms were also very warm, the air conditioning not appearing to be working. The windows did not have screens on them, so if we opened them to try to cool off the rooms (and also to air out the smell in the one room), the room would fill with moths. The condition of the one room was not appropriate for a guest to stay in, and it was an even bigger problem that no one could do anything to fix it. The multiple people at the hotel desk that we spoke with said nothing could be done because it was a weekend and the hotel was full on the Saturday evening. We were unable to sleep because the rooms were so warm and the smell in the one room made us feel ill. They could not provide a cot or roll-away so that all of us could stay in one room instead. I was later told by the hotel management: ”On Saturday morning the room was immediately checked after you spoke with the front deck, and the shower drain was opened and deeply cleaned. We just found out later that it didn't help, as it should, because a brand new part of the drain was needed.” Clearly from this message, there was a serious issue with the plumbing in the room. The condition of the room was not appropriate for guests to stay in it, and we should not have been placed there. This hotel is perfect for those arriving by train as right across the road from the main station, probably the closest hotel. Several places to eat and drink if arriving late as I was, though it's a decent walk to all the main sites, prob 1.5 km, but as it's so close to the station there are multiple tram and bus options. Didn't have breakfast there as was 19 EUR which is very expensive for a buffet breakfast. Rooms were nice and modern, although something very weird. My bed was vibrating, the same as you experience when there is music with a heavy bass underneath you. Fortunately there was another single bed in the room so I swapped and all was fine. I still can't explain it :) But would highly recommend if coming by train, especially when there for 24 hrs like I was, but if staying several days you may want to stay somewhere closer to the old town.

L'hotel è nuovo, aperto nel giugno di quest'anno. La nostra stanza era piccola ma molto ben progettata. Ha un buon profumo quando entrammo. Con i suoi pavimenti e mobili in legno, aveva un forte senso scandinavo. Tutto è nuovo, elegante e moderno. Abbiamo dormito molto bene e, vista la sua posizione su una strada occupata e oltre la stazione ferroviaria, notevolmente tranquillo. L'intero hotel è un'oasi di calma. Il buffet del colazione era eccellente. Purtroppo, la nostra esperienza in questo hotel altrimenti eccellente è stata influenzata dai primi minuti che ci siamo trovati. Non abbiamo ricevuto il miglior benvenuto: il ricevitore si è concentrato pienamente su qualcuno dietro di noi che faceva una telefonata piuttosto che su quello che dicevamo, e non ha preso nota di noi. Eravamo già un po' annoiati che la stanza che avevamo prenotato la notte precedente era, quando abbiamo controllato le strutture della stanza online, più conveniente il giorno in cui abbiamo controllato. Quando le ho chiesto se potevo pagare subito piuttosto che al mattino, come volevamo andarcene presto, lei ha detto sì, ma ci vorrebbe un po'. Non mi sono reso conto di avere nessuna prova che avessi pagato, quindi dovevo chiederle una ricetta. Non ci ha dato alcuna informazione sulle ore di colazione, sui codici WiFi, ecc. Ma ho trovato che informazioni sullo schermo TV nella nostra stanza. Non troppo professionale. I suoi colleghi alla ricezione quando abbiamo controllato erano super professionali e amici. Le prime impressioni sono state fatte e se le nostre prime impressioni fossero state migliori, sarei stato più che felice di dare a questo hotel il più alto grado, ma saremmo ancora felici di tornare.

Hotel molto comodo per una breve visita di città. Le camere sono pulite, i letti sono molto comodi, il giardino è così bello. Carpette in camera le danno un senso più fondamentale ma la camera ha quello che hai bisogno per un breve viaggio. Le camere sono tranquille. Non ci sono fritte, ma ha quello che hai bisogno. La colazione è fantastica. Il personale è gentile. Buona posizione per il trasporto pubblico: treni, autobus e tram. E 'un facile cammino 20 minuti al centro Hauptplatz der Stadt Graz.

Plus points - the location is good and the rooms are a decent size with decent facilities Minus points - the staff friendliness was a bit hit and miss - some where great, some not so helpful. The room service was a bit patchy - one day no towels, another day tea and coffee not replenished. The parking was also not ideal - I booked this hotel because it had hotel parking. I arrived around 10pm and was told the car park was full and I'd have to find somewhere to park myself either on the road outside or search the internet for a car park close by! Not really what I wanted to hear having travelled for around 12 hours - fortunately there was one remaining space fairly close which was a relief. We were lucky for the remainder of our stay that we managed to get a space in the undeground car park. If you do get a space the car park is really good - well lit, modern and easy to park with good room for each parking space. Overall our stay was ok.

L'hotel sembra nuovo. Progettato in modo minimalista, riducendo i costi pur servendo l'essenziale. Un ostello, in effetti. Situato a più di 15 minuti in auto dal centro della città, l'hotel offre un parcheggio gratuito per attirare i residenti. Il trasporto pubblico è meno affidabile. La colazione è economica (€10,5), la scelta è comprensibilmente scarsa. In breve, è tranquillo, pulito e semplice.

This hotel is easy to get to and it only 10 mins drive to the airport. There is parking around the hotel and I was charged €8 to park overnight. I didn’t see any options for a hotel bus shuttle and in a previous stay I paid €20 for a taxi to/from the hotel My room was quite big with lots of room. The room looks updated and modern and there was a comfortable king bed, flat screen TV (hardly any English speaking channels) work table, lounge chair and side table to relax in. The room had air conditioning with an old thermostat, you could hear the air conditioning running but even if it was on for a long time I didn’t feel the room getting any cooler. In fact I had to open the window in the evening to cool the room down, I was facing the busy motorway so there was a lot of road noise from the open window. The bathroom was a good size, with room to put toiletries at the sink and a good shower Wifi was available throughout the hotel and worked fine. The hotel does have a fitness room but I didn’t use it. The hotel does have a small mini market at reception that you can buy snacks. There is a bar and restaurant at the hotel I only stayed one night and the restaurant was only doing a buffet dinner at that time. I arrived to eat barely 20 minutes after the restaurant opened, but the food presented looked and tasted as if it had been sitting out for hours. The pork dish was oily, overcooked and chewy, the chips were a mixture of undercooked and overcooked and barely warm, the bread felt and tasted a couple of days old, the pasta was stodgy and the sauce was congealed. The salad, fruit and dessert options were fresh, but the selection was small. For the price of €20 I was disappointed I also had breakfast the next morning, it was €16, and again the food wasn’t that tasty and there was a limited selection Overall this hotel is clean comfortable hotel if you are staying before a flight, and I would stay here again, although I would be eating elsewhere
