Purtroppo è leggermente sbagliato dire che questo hotel ha un ascensore al primo e secondo piano, c'è un ascensore ma è solo a livello con poche camere, la maggior parte delle camere sono lungo più corridoi e sono necessari per salire e scendere. Anche le camere singole ”sulla terra” sono su qualche scala. Avrei consigliato di non rimanere se avete problemi di mobilità o telefono per assicurarsi di poter prenotare una delle poche camere a livello con gli ascensori. Ho dovuto andare tutto il tempo per la ricezione segnalare la mia TV non funziona, Poi, un'ora dopo, quando nessuno era stato in grado di farlo, il ricevitore doveva chiedere il numero della mia stanza, e quindi il biglietto originale non era stato disponibile; essi si alzarono poco dopo, e poi dovevano andare a trovare un sostituto. Il personale si è messo a mangiare quando gli ospiti continuavano a mangiare. Hotel abbastanza bello, ma è un coniglio di giardinaggio di camere & non provare a usare l'ascensore quando le parti del coach arrivano con carico di bagagli, avrete un lungo periodo di attesa. Devi mettere in piedi i segnali di avvertimento di salute e sicurezza corretti sulle porte con un passo dietro di loro e anche riparare superfici di pavimento non equamente.

We stopped by for dinner, on the recommendation of our hosts at Mt Barker bed and breakfast, also excellent, and had a great visit and some good scotch at the bar with Mark, the owner. Dinner was very good and we enjoyed ourselves in their lovely setting. My husband had the tender lamb dish, and I had excellent mussels. The service was pleasant and efficient. We'd go back if we were in the area. The walk along the street back to our b and b was along a street of former larger homes, now mostly bed and breakfasts.

Ich war eine Woche über Silvester als Teil einer [Wander-]Gruppe hier und hatte einen wundervollen Aufenthalt im Nethybridge Hotel! Das Gebäude ist alt, was dem Hotel einen sehr urigen Touch gibt und sehr stimmungsvoll in die Landschaft passt. Die Zimmer sind allerdings mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Ich hatte ein sehr bequemes Doppelbett und war ganz verliebt in meine kleine Sitzecke im Erker! Ich mochte auch die verschiedenen Lichtquellen im Zimmer sehr, so dass es auch gemütlich war zu lesen und sich im Zimmer aufzuhalten. Ansonsten wie gesagt alles da, was man braucht: TV mit britischem Fernsehen, Föhn, Schreibtisch, Schrank, Verdunklung der Fenster, Duschbad und genügend Ablagefläche im Bad. Dann gibt es noch das ”Wohnzimmer” für die Gäste im Erdgeschoss, mit vielen Couches und bequemen Ohrensesseln, eine tolle gemütliche Bar und immer auch mit einem offenen Kamin - so tolle Atmosphäre! Dann noch ein schönes Restaurant mit gutem Frühstücksbuffet und ganz fantastischem Abendessen. Eine extra Erwähnung verdienen noch die ganz arg freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Mitarbeiter des Hotels, die den Aufenthalt nochmal besser gemacht haben. Rundum ein super Erlebnis.
