Amazing place, great service, leatherback safaries simply superb! The staff made us feel so pamper, we lived it! The driver Steven is so nice, careful and kind. Akim showed us many wildlife, great attitude. Thank you all for making it a memorable vacations!

We had a lovely weekend at Mt. Plaisir. Thank you Hadco and your team for preserving such a special place in Trinidad. We have gone often to see the turtles but first time staying at the renovated Mt. Plaisir. The team, the food , the accommodation are all excellent. Even while on the beach we had staff providing kayaks, beach chairs , games for the kids etc. The turtle watching was also superb. Always nice to see and Trinidad is so fortunate to have such an abundance of Leather Back Turtles. There are 21 rooms and the cost is per head so with children we got 2 rooms at no additional cost. They also provide rooms that can sleep 5/6 if you prefer. Thanks to all the staff who served us our meals as they were very pleasant and accommodating. The hotel is very safe ; lots of parking ; towels provided etc. We swam in the pool and the river. Hadco has shown that we can provide a great level of service and a great product in Trinidad. Waiting for Hadco to go to Tobago to do the same as they have also done a wonderful job at Asa Wright.

It was a wonderful experience. All the staff were helpful and courteous. The meals were delicious. The surroundings were clean and modern. The children and adults had a fabulous time. Thank you for making our stay a memorable one. I will definitely recommend a stay there.

Amazing from start to finish Food, service, ambience, amenities, comfort, safety. 10/10 would recommend and I’ll be back Friendly doggies on the beach along with friendly locals. General Manager, also made sure our time there was everything we hoped for. We took a tour to see how coco is grown and harvested and made into chocolate locally. Guides are very knowledgeable about the entire process and we learned a lot.

This mini staycation was nothing short of amazing! The staff was the most helpful and accommodating (most appreciated as we had a super energetic and enthusiastic toddler), the facilities were extremely clean and well maintained, the meals were excellent with a complimentary all-day tea and coffee station, and safe to say, we will be back. It was the day before the opening of the turtle nesting season but we were pleasantly surprised by two turtles- one at 2am and another at 6am. Such great luck! The hotel’s commitment and dedication to being sustainable and eco-friendly was most noticeable. Overall, we were super pleased and will return later this year!

The staff and the food are amazing! So calming and peaceful. So many activities and things to see. They cater for every need and are very accommodating to your preferences. I felt so safe and pampered. Being right on the beach is fanatic. The pool was divine. Amenities were updated and environment well kept.

This place is magic, it did not disappoint, go see for yourself..the location, the accommodation, the service, the food, the guides, the staff, the turtles, the birds etc etc Up there as a wildlife destination and we’ve been to many. Big thanks to all.

Having a room 20 feet from the beach where the 800lb female turtles come to lay their eggs. It was like being in a Nat Geo documentary but with a cozy bed near by. The rooms were 5 star and the service was amazing. The chef was awesome too. We also took kayaks and kayaked the Grand Riverie for birds. So beautiful. Go!

From check-in to departure, our stay was enjoyable and rewarding. The staff was friendly and accommodating, arranging another room when one of our group wanted to switch and taking precautions with several food allergies. The rooms were luxurious with premium toiletries and comfy beds. Our highlight was, of course, witnessing the wonders of nature with numerous leatherback turtles in various stages: coming onto the beach, digging their nests and laying eggs. The real bonus was our guide coming to our rooms to call us to witness the hatchlings coming out and entering the water. This place is a must see, and we intend to come back. Special thanks to Sarah, Lydia and Leah, as well as our knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide.
