The setting and view were fantastic as we came across this for lunch while on a golf cart. Never greeted and part of our order was forgotten. Ordered salads with shrimp that seemed to have been frozen from Costco. Flies were horrible and they have no repellant in the eating area. Topped off by another patron eating while his bare feet was propped on a chair. $85 for 2 salads, conch fritters and 2 club sodas.

Very happy. I booked the Osprey Beach Hotel for a solo dive trip. The two dive operators on island are across the street, which is incredibly convenient. The rooms are basic but spacious. Everything worked though there is obvious wear and tear in spots. The AC worked very well. There was plenty of hot water. The WiFi worked well. So my needs were 100% met. I will stay here again. PS The photo was taken with my phone from my balcony (no editing).

Wow, this place was really rundown the food and drinks super overpriced. The pictures on their websites. They should redo them now. Waiters were nonchalant in the 20 minutes we were there no food no service so there we go. It was in a good spot.

Worst service I have ever encountered. Rooms were run down and unclean. Restaurant staff awful, kitchen refusing to serve food and staff more interested in their phones than serving drinks and meals. Would recommend going anywhere else.

Strengths: Location, location, location! The beach and sunset views cannot be beat. Dive boats (or snorkeling) pick up at the hotel, you can also snorkel from the beach - the further out you can go, the better reef conditions get, and the wall is within reach as well for stronger swimmers. The Duke Street neighborhood offered access to several bars and restaurants, and walking distance to a bank (bring more cash!), grocery store, and pharmacy. The staff are all friendly and helpful. We didn’t need to activate our phones for international plans because the office helped us call taxis as needed, and get a golf cart rental for 1 day to explore the island. We liked our ground floor beach front room for the ease of access to walk in/out directly to the beach. If you prefer the view to access, ask for a room on the upper floor. Note: The 5-star rating for the hotel does not imply that it is a luxury hotel - but you get solid value for the price of the room. Some of the downsides: the beds squeaked a bit, there were biting bugs, and some local (friendly) dogs that roamed the area and would occasionally bark (day and night). But keep in mind that all of these downsides are just minor irritations for us compared to the strengths listed above.

Just returned from my first visit to Grand Turk Island and I slipped up on the perfect place to stay after a VRBO disaster. Lucky for us it had the perfect location for us divers directly across the street from the island's best dive operation, Blue Water Divers. Nicely appointed all beachfront rooms and a great Bar/Restaurant. The Owner Jenny, and her excellent staff were all very friendly, helpful, and accommodating.

Best place to stay on Grand Turk. Office staff was friendly and allowed for our early check in. Restaurant provided wonderful service for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Bar staff did a great job with drinks and made us feel at home. Also, easy to get a cab when needed.

Great stay at the Osprey. Our room was on the south end of the hotel, next to the office. It was very comfortable, with large bed, mini fridge and a patio over looking a gorgeous calm beach. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Only compliant really was that the ceiling fan squeaked which became quite annoying at night. So we rigged a solution, balancing items tied to the chain to weigh it down just enough to stop the squeak. Comical but it worked. We had a great time and would stay here again. Trip highlights: the small plane you must take to get to Grand Turk, gorgeous beaches, lovely Islanders, friendly donkeys that roam the island, cracked conch, rum punch.

Great on site restaurant Enjoyed shrimp Alfredo for dinner and pancakes for breakfast. nice ocean views Room on second floor was very nice, glad not to have to worry about stray dogs on patio. Bar closed at ten so the noise level went down. Snorkeling off the beach was marginal. Not much to see. Very little shade. Beach chairs provided but no beach umbrellas. Great little hotel. We were only there for one night, awaiting a whale trip that got cancelled. I would return.
