Hotel in zona Walgreens, Grand Rapids

L'hotel è stato un vincitore sorprendente, ho interagito con tre persone, e tutti sono stati felici, amichevoli, gentili e di aiuto. La stanza era pulita e ben fornita, il colazione era ampio e la proprietà si trova vicino a diverse buone opzioni di mangiare. Nel primo piano c'è un'area di gioco familiare con due tavoli da calcio e diverse tavole disperse intorno per i gruppi a pendere e giocare. Inoltre, c'è un incendio sul sito se la gente vuole godere di un po' di tempo intorno a un incendio a campeggio fuori. In tutto, questo hotel è un vincitore!

We stayed here during Art Prize because it offered onsite parking and was reasonably priced compared to the other downtown hotels, this cost was fine. The location is convenient to museums etc. I was surprised that the room was as quiet given the hotel is close to the freeway. We did not here traffic as other reviewers have mentioned. The staff was very friendly and answered any questions we threw their way. We paid $5 up front for morning breakfast. This was a deal since we ordered off the menu. The food was very good. All in all, we would stay here again. We have not stayed in a Holiday Inn in many years-our experience with the downtown Grand Rapids has enticed us to consider Holiday Inn in the future.

When I arrived to check in, I was told that my reservation had been changed to double Queen instead of the king suite I had wanted. The receptionist at the front was apologetic and offered a discount. I am rating this poor because I would have appreciated a phone call previous to this change. That would have given me the opportunity to cancel and find a different place. Also, when I asked to speak to the manager that told the receptionist to make the change, the manager didn’t work in the weekend. I took the discount and the room. Luckily, I am only spending one night. This is just a place to rest my head for tonight. I will remember this experience and not book a room through this hotel again. Obviously, reservations do not matter.

In passato, per le partite precoce, alcuni articoli sul buffet per colazione gratis erano sempre stati creati presto. Non c'era nulla, non c'era nulla, non c'era nulla che non fosse stato fatto a nessuna delle stanze per quanto riguarda l'aggiornamento, la decorazione è triste e vecchia con lo stesso tappeto e le stesse sedie marroni che ci sono stati per anni. Sarebbe bene se il posto fosse pulito, ma immediatamente ho trovato un grosso insetto volante sotto il bagno, chiaramente vista dalla porta del bagno, e infine, le matite non sono di supporto e devono essere cambiate. Gli ho detto che non mi sarei mai più fermato, ma mi dispiaceva di aver pagato la mia prenotazione e di aver dovuto soffrire l'ultima volta.

Questo hotel è super pulito e ben tenuto, l'area della piscina era pulita e mi sentivo a mio agio a nuotare lì. Il check-in è stato semplicissimo, grazie!

My spouse and I live only about 3 miles away from this hotel and were forced to spend a night here in December 2021 after a windstorm knocked out our power for a lengthy period of time. We drive by this hotel often, and I thought it was kinda fun to stay here and see what the interior was like. The circumstances that required us to stay here were not fun, but overall, we were fairly pleased with the hotel. We checked in sometime around 6:30 or 7 p.m. on a Thursday night. Our check-in process went relatively smoothly, and we used my husband's IHG reward points for our stay. Our room (#254) was clean and comfortable... no problems there. After we got settled into the hotel, we had a tasty dinner and a couple of alcoholic beverages at the bar. Kind of expensive, but whatever. This hotel has an indoor pool and fitness center... neither of which we used. Unfortunately, the indoor pool did not have a hot tub which we would have enjoyed. I can't speak to the breakfast options because we ended up eating breakfast elsewhere. One thing I was sort of disappointed about was the fact that this hotel did not have a business center with computers for guests to use. I would have appreciated a business center to surf the Internet, but one was not available. The only other thing I have to say about this hotel is that the bathroom setup in our room was a bit unusual... no problems with it; it was just different. The shower is in a tucked-away corner in the bathroom with no curtain or anything. I didn't have a problem with it; it was just interesting and different. Hopefully we won't have any other significant power outages that will require us to stay at a local hotel, but if it does happens again, we would have no qualms about staying here again.
