This is the worst experience I've ever had.I booked this place before hand and called them and they assured my room and everything,and i call once again right before I arrive,keep in mind i drove 3 hours because I have a convection with my employees,after I arrive there was no cars and the door was locked,after waiting for 5-10 mins a lady that looked homeless looking came out and we said we had a resversaration and she said the hotel was sold and it was closed,and we were explaining how we just called a lady and we paid almost 600 hundred for this hotel!

Superb staff! Snow curtailed everyone's plans and staff tried their best to see positive side. There were a few issues but understandable. Dirty laundry in our closet, trash in hallway 3 days, still; we had a good 2 nights. Thank you Drury -- 2 adults and 2 toddlers.

Amazing hotel if your looking for a budget friendly spacious hotel room, ofc nothings perfect But it was a great size room was also very clean and had amazing amenities. The hotel staff were very kind and accommodating, brought us extra pillows and towels when we asked! We had a great trip and are excited to go back and stay again.

I reviewed this location in July 2017, which I gave them 5 stars. I had booked (June20th) this hotel for my mom & 3 aunts, due to having some problems with a home renovations. It was booked the same day as arrival. This location is perfect with many restaurants & businesses around this location. They went to grab dinner then checked in to the hotel. They sent my pictures of the room, I was completely shocked & horrified of the conditions of the room. Pictures included mold in the ceiling of the shower, shower vent peeling paint, table leg cracked, window casing cracked and holes in the wallpaper in the bathroom. This is the second Homewood Suites in Grand Rapids that I’ve had to give less than stellar reviews. I absolutely love the Hilton brand, but I’m not sure what’s going on with the Grand Rapids locations. These hotels are in need of some much needed TLC maintenance ASAP. I was so embarrassed I had booked this for them, but I wanted a spacious room for them.

Horrible!!! I overlooked a lot because we were there to see our son. I overlooked the newly cracked tiles in the bathroom that pinched my foot. I overlooked the dirty coffee mugs in the cupboard (one was completely covered on the inside with a sticky substance). I overlooked getting electrocuted by the elevator button and then dealing with an "out of service" elevator for the bulk of our stay. What really got me was after I was told we could have a late check-out, no later than 3pm, I was called over an hour prior to that and aggressively threatened with a $50 fee or find my things in the lost and found. Website clearly states $0.00 late check-out fee. Additionally, room keys were deactivated and were escorted to our room to pack up...after being charged the fee. Horrible customer service, horribly maintained location.

Terrible- don’t recommend. I’ve gone to a lot of hotels over the past 3 years - I stay in motels almost monthly and this by far was one of the worst hotels ever! Breakfast was gross, rooms smelled staff was unfriendly and management was awful! Do yourself a favor and book elsewhere! You’ll be glad you did!

Room smelled bad. Woke up early so I could get out of there. No waters or snacks for Hilton Honors. Pantry was bare. Said they were waiting for deliveries. No shower gel in container on bathroom wall. Curtain sheets were threadbare with tons of holes. Bedside lamps didn’t work. No charging outlets on nightstands. Room was not overly clean. Breakfast was sparse. Worse than Hampton Inn. Employees were in dining area talking, eating, not at front desk. No one cares here.

Nice room, a little worn down, needs new pillows, not a bad stay. It didn’t have flavored creamer for coffee. Ce areal, omelet, potato, juice. There was a ceiling fan in bdrm. The refrigerator was leaking water on the floor & inside the fridge. The toilet was very loud when flushed. The table to dine on or work on computer was very wobbly. The lamps in the bedroom did have plug outlet. Lots of drawer space, it had a hide a bed in living area.

Old, furniture worn and dirty. Lack of maintenance. Disinterested staff. We stayed here while moving house. Thankfully for just one night. Living room furniture falling to pieces and filthy. Dishes still in the dishwasher. Stove top dirty. Evidence of possible electrical fire at one of the outlets by the bed. We would never stay here again. Hilton should be embarrassed to have their name associated with this hotel
