Villaggio bello e curato! Animazione eccellente. Tutto lo staf è affiatato e super organizzato. I ragazzi sono molto professionali e simpatici, pronti in ogni momento della giornata a venire incontro alle nostre esigenze. La grande Veronica oltre ad organizzare è super disponibile, alle 2,30 di notte mi ha fatto dare un’altra stanza perché nella mia era entrato un piccolo geco. Non ho parole per ringraziare anche Stefano che ci ha allietato la settimana, a Federico tutto fare, a Filiberto che ogni sera ci ha dato le dritte su come vivere l’isola, a Jonni che ci ha fatto divertire con la sua acqua gym , ad Iris sempre simpatica e disponibile,a Sofia e Gessica super carine ed a tutti gli altri ragazzi che aiutano negli spettacoli che sono molto belli , goliardici ed emozionanti. Al grande cuoco italiano che ci ha fatto sentire a casa. Lasciamo qui un po’ del nostro cuore ed auguriamo” buona vita a tutti “ve lo meritate!

Albergo simile ai lussuosi di Dubai o Singapore ottima location ottima struttura ben supportata dal personale ancora un pochino da rodare Abbiamo cenato in terrazza all’ultimo piano in mezzo a palme vere piscina a sfioro e relax assoluto Il giorno successivo siamo stati nel loro ristorante Japanese e devo dire stupendo meraviglioso e cucina magistrale Grazie a monsier Ashock che si è prestato essendosi ricordato che ero cliente del Royal Palm dove lui ha lavorato Bravi !!!!!!

Siamo stati una settimana qui in luna di miele. L'hotel è piccolo (circa 20 camere) e quindi ci sono molte più attenzioni e interazioni rispetto ai grandi Resort. Abbiamo avuto la fortuna di avere upgrade gratuito in una suite. Il cibo è ottimo, ogni sera un menu diverso con possibilità di cambiare pietanze con quelle del menù alla carta. Molto apprezzata la cena a tema Mauriziano, con cocktail inclusi e buffet. Molto apprezzata anche la merenda con the e torta ogni pomeriggio senza costi aggiuntivi. Purtroppo il tempo non è stato dei migliori e a causa della posizione c'è sempre molto vento lì, la piscina comunque è riscaldata e dentro si sta bene. Posizione strategica vicino alle spiagge più belle. Personale molto gentile, professionale e accogliente, in particolare Sanjiv e Ansuya, sempre pronti a fornire informazioni, e il cameriere Yajesh che parla italiano.

You need to manage your expectations when you book a stay at Oceans Villas. You might have watched the YouTube videos showing the hotel. But it's fair to say that these videos show the icing on the cake and not the core ingredients. If you saw two South Africans touring the hotel, be warned that they've shown the best parts and avoided showing the worst parts. It's a 3 star establishment. And that means you're going to have to put up with a property that was built circa 1980s. There were signs of wear and tear everywhere. As you walk through the front door, some parts of the villas needed a bit of filler and a lick of paint. Some of the furniture had seen better days and our shower door leaked every time we took a shower. But the villa was clean. The beds were comfortable and the villa had amenities that you wouldn't expect such as a safe, hair dryer and a microwave too. A bottle of mineral water was also provided on arrival and parking outside the villas was a nice touch. As for the grounds, the gardens are kept well. It's not going to blow you away but again it's 3 star. The swimming pool didn't look as clean as we'd like and we opted not to go for a dip. The cushions on the seats were littered with stains from previous guests spilling drinks and food. The beach was decent. The view out to the bay was spectacular and you certainly won't be disappointed. You can swim but when we stayed, the sea was choppy but that's not the hotel's problem. What's great about Oceans Villa is its position. You're only 5 minutes away in a car from the best public beaches. Namely Trou aux Biches, Mon Choisy, Pereybere and La Gaulette. So you're spoilt for choice. We'd like to praise the service at the hotel. The kitchen staff and serving staff were really accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. The entertainment was particularly good, and you'll certainly be tapping your toes and most likely dancing. Lastly the food. One word MSG. There's a good selection of food but too much MSG added to the food. Every morning, we woke up to that awful salty taste on our tongues. So as you can gather there's some good parts to Oceans Villas but you're going to have to put up with some bad parts. if you're on a budget and happy to stay in a 3 star establishment where you can experience the beaches in the North, it's a good place to stay. Would we stay there again? I'd most likely opt for a self catering apartment. We felt for the money, we'd get better quality of facilities but then again we'd have to prepare our food.

The hotel is in need of a makeover, some of the fittings a little outdated. The pool is little more than a plunge pool though the setting is superb. The breakfast is average, so much so that whilst my wife went for breakfast most days I stayed in the room and just had yoghurts. The minibar doesn’t work and nothing is cold in it. There’s no room service menu though they allow outside deliveries for guests. That’s all the bad points. Now for the good points. The rooftop bar is relaxed and atmospheric, the sunsets there are sensational and the cocktails are superb. The service from the staff was incredible. Always helpful and informative and willing to go the extra mile to make you welcome and that makes up for the shortcomings of the actual building itself. Also the location close to Perrybere beach and a short taxi ride to Grand Baie is pretty good too, though it’s a long taxi ride from the airport.
