Carmen de Ramilla è una bellissima guesthouse situata nel cuore dell’Albayzin caratteristico quartiere storico di Granada dalle casette bianche e strade acciottolate. La casa ha un giardino meraviglioso e ben curato, con una piscina per le calde giornate estive di Granada, stanze appartamenti arredati con cura e forniti di tutto ed è in una posizione strategica de vuoi godere della vera vita di Granada! Isabel è stata molto gentile e accogliente e sempre puntuale nelle risposte: consigliatissimo! Hasta luego!

We stayed here for almost a week over Christmas and loved every moment. Everything here was traditional and full of character, with wooden beams and authentic tiles and a private garden. We were a party of four adults so booked two apartments, and both were unique, clean, and had good facilities. Our host Isabel was also lovely and did so much for us. She met us for when we arrived to hand over the keys and tell us about the local attractions. She even booked us a taxi on the last day when our taxi app messed up! We originally picked Carmen de Ramilla for the location - it is close to the city center, but our whole stay was lovely and quiet being nestled in the Albaicin. We walked down the Paseo de los Tristes from the apartments easily, and the Mirador de San Nicolás was only around the corner. All of the monasteries and the Alhambra were a very short bus ride away. We would definitely book these apartments again and feel like staying here made our holiday all the more special!

HAD TO DO A BIT OF A DOUBLE TAKE. I mean, it is nearly a year since the last TA Review for the CdR which does seem rather a long time. What is it with people? Do they not do TA Reviews anymore. Anyway, enough of the waffle. Welcomed by the wonderful Isobelle, we were guided in using the great directions provided. You need them as you are in the middle of the Old Town and it is like Wacky Races in the small narrow streets. The rooms in this little oasis are perfectly adequate, all you need, a good bed and a good shower. The garden probably the only disappointment as it could be so nice, but just lacked tlc. Great rate, great location. Yes a deserving consideration of you are in the Big G.

From the initial booking communication from Isabel was so helpful: excellent directions and information, and flexibility with arrival time. The apartment is spotlessly clean with all amenities including a very comfy bed and great shower. Beautifully decorated in traditional style everything you need is provided. It was a bit cold to make use of the pool when we visited in November but the walled garden is a delight, filed with fruit trees, beautiful plants, and private seating areas. The location is superb in the Albaicin with lots of bars and restaurants within a very short walk and spectacular views of the Alhambra and the Sierra Nevadas 2 minutes away. The walk into Granada central is very pleasant and there are frequent buses back (€1.40) if you can’t face the hill. Highly recommend this lovely accommodation- thank you Isabel for a lovely stay

Nous avons séjourné deux nuits au Carmen de Ramilla , fin avril 2025. Situation exceptionnelle en plein coeur du quartier de l'Albaicin à Grenade. Après avoir poussé la porte de cette maison, nous découvrons un magnifique patio avec son bassin de nage et une belle terrasse. Des travaux sont en cours dans le jardin, cela sera splendide une fois les travaux réalisés! Quel bonheur de profiter du bassin (encore frais pour la saison!), du citronnier, des arbres en fleurs... Nous logions dans l'appartement "Granada" et nos enfants dans l'appartement "Cordoba". Les appartements viennent tout juste d'être rénovés. Rénovation très réussie avec goût (mention spéciale pour la tête de lit et les coussins qui sont magnifiques, les appartements sont très spacieux , surtout "Granada" situé au 1er étage. Rachel, une Française; vous accueille avec gentillesse et vous donne plein de conseils pour rendre votre séjour des plus agréables. Nous avons mis 30 minutes à pied pour accéder à l'Alhambra. Tout se fait à pied, nous avons même rejoint le centre de Grenade toujours à pied. Seul petit bémol: les bus et les taxis qui montent très régulièrement dans l'Albaicin et qui roulent très vite, attention! Nous reviendrons avec plaisir dans cette belle maison pour profiter de ce magnifique quartier de l'Albaicin !

Die Unterkunft im Albaícin, dem ältesten Viertel von Granada, ist ein kleines Paradies, in das wir nach den Menschenmassen beim Besuch der Alhambra und der Stadtbesichtigung sehr gerne zurückgekehrt sind. Die Apartamentos der Carmen de Ramilla sind von einem traumhaften Garten mit blühenden Pflanzen, duftenden Rosen, Obstbäumen, kleinen, schattigen Ruheecken und plätschernden Brunnen umgeben. Außerdem gibt es einen kleinen Pool und Sonnenliegen auf einer gepflegten Rasenfläche. Unser Zimmer mit Küchenzeile im Erdgeschoss war geräumig und geschmackvoll im andalusischen Stil eingerichtet. Das Bad ist modern und groß, die Betten sind gut, alles ist sehr sauber und gepflegt. Das Frühstück auf unserer schönen Terrasse haben wir sehr genossen. Die Lage im Albaícin ist fantastisch. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten, auch die Alhambra, Restaurants und Bars sind gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Ein Genuss für uns waren die Abendspaziergänge zum Mirador de San Nicolas und zum Sacromonte, um den Sonnenuntergang mit wundervollem Blick auf die Alhambra zu erleben. Isabelle ist eine überaus gastfreundliche, herzliche Gastgeberin. Sie hat uns viele nützliche Tipps und Informationen für unseren Aufenthalt gegeben. Die Kommunikation mit ihr gerade hinsichtlich der Wegbeschreibung und Zufahrt zu ihrem Haus und dem gesicherten Parkplatz außerhalb des Viertels war hervorragend. Gerne wären wir länger geblieben. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen!

Les propriétaires sont très sympas,accueillantes et à votre écoute. Le Carmen possède tout ce qu'il faut pour passer un séjour plus qu'agréable . Petit jardin bien agencé avec fruitiers,arbres d'ornements et plantes de tous genres. Un couloir de nage,très appréciable et toujours bien entretenu. Notre appartement avec terrasse privative,c'est le top,voir le summum pour nous,habitué à prendre nos repas dehors. Il est bien décoré, propre et fonctionnel. Grande douche à l'italienne, literie impeccable. Le plus pour ceux qui aiment regarder leurs programmes, il y a le cromcast. Mille merci mesdames de nous avoir permis de passer de très bons moments et bravo pour avoir redonné vie avec goût et une nouvelle âme à ce Carmen.
