Clean room. Daily necessities well- thought out. Cups and plates provided are nice. Colour of walls and surrounding are perfectly matched.

The room was spacious & clean. The staff was attentive and welcome us at the entrance when we drove in. The hotel is near to the Gotemba premium outlets.

Despite being a bit expensive, the hotel service and private onsen are excellent.

Staff are very nice. It’s very quiet in the environment, very pleasant stay. Since we took bus at JR Gotemba, we called the hotel earlier for the pick up service. And unfortunately the bus was late, we could not meet the car anymore. We then asked the tourist information Ctr to call. ( tips to all tourists)

Huge room with living sofa set. 12th floor has a view of Mt. Fuji. FREE shuttle bus stop near by to go Gotemba outlet mall.

I am writing to express my sincere appreciation for the outstanding service we received during our stay at your hotel from the 6th to the 7th of February. Due to unexpected snowstorm warnings, our travel plans were disrupted as all express and hill roads were blocked. In this challenging situation, the warmth of your welcome and the assistance we received in inquiring about Toyota Rent a Car were truly remarkable. I must extend special gratitude to a staff member (whose name unfortunately escapes me) for their unwavering patience and detailed explanations, providing us with the assistance we needed during these trying circumstances. This experience has left a lasting impression on us, and we wanted to convey our deepest thanks for the exceptional service received, particularly from the staff member whose name, regrettably, slipped my mind. Thank you once again for turning a challenging situation into a positive and memorable experience. We look forward to the opportunity to stay at Mars Gardenwood Gotemba in the future.

It is located in Gotemba but not exactly near any particular key food or shopping area but near enough to drive to the Premium Outlet, Hakone, Mount Fuji etc as a base. Of course top notch cleanliness. However, front office staff spoke little English and was not particularly helpful and welcoming. Beautiful fishing pond and surrounds. Good Onsen as well.

Good and Clean Hotel

The rooms were clean and tidy. The room type I got had generous amount of space. The hotel was very quiet, the guest were mostly adults and older children. There was a fish ponds and complimentary food is provided to feed the fishes. The onsen was pleasant. The Japanese breakfast was well presented. The only negative was the Wifi, it doesn’t work.

Staff and service was great. Onsen was great. Very good hotel for families. Had a wonderful stay. Thank you.
