Great room in the Annex, very spacious and quiet. We had dinner bed and breakfast. Dinner was amazing - very tasty venison and haggis pie with freshly cooked vegetable and mash. Breakfast really good - pick your own 5 choices from a menu. Very friendly and efficient staff. Will definitely return when next in Cumbria.

Had a superb few stay for few days .. bedroom was very comfortable ..we stayed in a Hall bedroom. Food was excellent and staff very friendly, professional and accommodating. Love the decor .. gave a welcoming feeling. We will be back for sure

We visited to have a celebration meal. The quality of the food was variable. Burgers and pies were good but the cod bites and chips had just come from Iceland and the lamb whilst tasty was very small portion. the restaurant staff were great and really helpful but couldn`t say the same for the rudeness of the bar man. Wouldn`t rush back unfortunately even though its lovely setting.

Great, friendly accommodating staff, newly refurbished contemporary bedrooms, kept with the old beams, and stone walls intact. Great outside terrace area. Breakfast was superb. Set next to an old church in the lovely village of Gosforth

We stayed here for the weekend to go walking in the wast water area. The accommodation was very reasonably priced and everything we needed as a comfortable base. Nice big bed, good shower etc. the pub itself is lovely. Fantastic food which is also very reasonably priced for the area. Really good quality breakfast which came with the room price. The staff were very friendly and attentive. We really could not ask for anything more and will definitely return.

After much deliberation of where to stay on the West Coast, we thankfully decided on Gosforth Hall Inn & ended up spending a wonderful night in this incredible location, everything was perfect from the moment we arrived, from friendly staff, an amazing room with original features, super comfy bed & fabulous wet room, to the most delicious food in the evening & the following morning’s breakfast, we just wished we had stayed longer, definitely one to return to & recommend strongly to all our friends/family!

Recently returned from a 4 night stay in room 3. Everything about Gosforth Hall was excellent, easy parking, spacious , immaculate room, good food, lovely garden and friendly staff. One of the most relaxing places we have stayed. Good location for touring the Western Lake District. Thoroughly recommend.

We had room 6 which is in the top floor, stunning room with beams, huge bed, beautiful well equipped en-suite with a large shower. Booked for an evening meal as well. Services was exceptional, food delivered quickly and the staff were happy to accommodate us when we moved from inside to sit outside before our food was brought out. The beer garden is well planned out and has all sorts of different types of seating, it’s quite the sun trap. Dogs were a plenty and all very well behaved. The Inn’s resident cat doesn’t bat an eyelid at them either! Breakfast was perfect and delivered quickly. I would highly recommend anyone staying here!

I’ve stayed here a number of times. Each time the rooms have been clean and comfortable. The location is good. There is adequate parking. There is a restaurant here too which does nice food and drinks (although there is a limited menu on Sundays. I would recommend this hotel.
