Excellent service best room in the house! Really enjoyed the bath and bed so comfortable. Had dinner in the restaurant was truly amazing and breakfast in the morning. Thank you for having us to stay.

Avoid room 24 In general this was a nice establishment to stay. However room 24 is right above the vehicle entrance to this old coaching inn which has a cobbled surface. At 5.15 we were awoke by the sound of the bin men moving wheelie bins in and out of the hotel as the room is immediately above the entrance. When they eventually stopped the general traffic kept us awake. Apart from that one side of the double bed is against the wall making going to the loo in the middle of the night a bit of an issue for someone. The food was good and at reasonable prices.

Perfect base for a Dorking stay Lovely comfortable hotel right in the middle of Dorking. Lovely welcoming touches (welcome note in the room, complimentary sweet treats, fresh milk for teas etc.); very good a la carte breakfast; comfortable room with good radio and TV, and pod coffeemaker (plastic free pods); lovely toiletries in refillable bottles in bathroom; all the satgg we met were excellent. It suited usnvery well for our stay. Be aware that there are narrow and fairly steep stairs to many of the rooms, so check that out with them before staying if that's an issue for you

Great place to stay Bed and amenities are great… only problem is parking! Realised it’s a pub also and restaurant but would’ve thought the spaces should be kept for customers who are staying. I know it’s difficult to police but that would have been the icing on the cake for such a lovely place….

A very comfortable stay and sleep. The food was great, both dinner and breakfast. Only criticism would be the limited parking as the car park is for all patrons rather than hotel guests. Managed to find a space eventually
