As someone fortunate enough to travel frequently for teaching, I’ve stayed in all types of hotels—some wonderfully simple, others surprisingly underwhelming for their star rating. But every so often, I come across a place that genuinely takes my breath away. Maxx Royal in Bodrum is one of those rare gems. From the moment you arrive, you’re greeted with an unparalleled level of service. Every detail is thought through, and you’re made to feel not just welcome, but truly looked after. The location is nothing short of stunning—nestled in one of the most beautiful areas of Turkey, it manages to feel both luxurious and grounded in nature. And then, the bathroom. Often overlooked in hotel reviews, this one deserves its own mention. Spacious, impeccably designed, and filled with thoughtful touches, it’s a space that invites relaxation. From the lighting to the high-end amenities, it elevates your stay into something genuinely restorative. There are many places I’ve stayed where I could say, “it was fine,” but Maxx Royal is a place I would absolutely recommend. It’s magical, it’s special, and if you’re ever visiting this part of the world, it should be right at the top of your list.

Amazing hotel, lovely and helpful staff. Really Nice selection of restaurants. The view is just beautiful and the hotel itself has so much greener Had the best conciërge named Deniz. Amazing and helpful always answering in almost seconds. He arranged everything for me from reservations, to suggestions for activities and more.

Me and my family had the most amazing experience whilst staying at the Maxx Royal Resort. The rooms, atmosphere and the facilities were up there with the highest quality i’ve seen. Restaurants available within the resort were all up to very high standards with exceptional service from all staff. Taxis were provided if and when we wanted to explore elsewhere in Bodrum. However, in particular our Maxx Assistants Asli and Eddie made our time there above and beyond expectations. Both made sure we had everything we needed at all times with consistent support and daily communication. Myself and my family felt as though we were the only guests there due to receiving a personal level of service in which we couldn’t have asked for more. For me in particular, Asli has such a warm and welcoming personality which allowed our holiday to very quickly feel like home. Personally, I could not recommend Maxx Royal any more and I look forward to returning to the resort in the future!

Having been the sort of person who would Judge a resort hotel by unfounded reputation I had prejudged the resort ant its hotels, however, I had only been here a few minutes when I changed my mind completely the warm reception by the staff and in particular from Samnet the man who was chosen to look after our every need at this hotel made this one of the most memorable and better hotel experiences I have ever had. The rooms were amazing. The only thing for me was the bed although large wasn’t as comfortable as I would’ve liked however I realise that too many of dealer guests. This might have been the most comfortable bad experience they’ve ever had. The food and choice of food in the restaurant is absolutely amazing. There is no pressure on you. You can eat what you want anytime today rather like being on the cruise and the food is good quality professionally served and the staff seem genuinely please to help you.Whilst this was my first ever visit to this area and in fact Turkey, I’m sure it won’t be my last this is a fabulous hotel.

I had the most wonderful time in Maxx Royal Bodrum. The resort is stunning, the landscape, the beach, all the flowers and plants. Burcu took me on a tour the first day! Muharrem Acar made me laugh so much! My room was first class, and very stylish layout, with a big comfortable bed. The spa and the gym was at outstanding quality. I was there almost everyday. Huge range of weights and equipment, classes and pool. I loved the sauna and the cold plunge, the salt room and the coloured showers. The 24/7 restaurant had incredibly friendly and knowledgeable staff, Erhan and Emrullah Akkurt were outstanding. The Turkish breakfast was so beautiful with lots of little wonderful plates of food. My favourites on the menu were the Gavurdağ Salata, the sea bass, chicken paté and the borscht. I also loved the Turkish wine Urla. I also had assistants via WhatsApp, which was very convenient, Tuğberk and Nazifa helped me with everything from calling a buggy and laundry bags. I loved lying on the beach listening to the house music coming from the restaurants behind, sipping tasty cocktails, and feeling like a star. The water in Bodrum is very clear and fresh. You can see fish swimming around your feet! I feel like my soul has been kissed.

It was an amazing experience. My partner and I have been to quite a few hotels around the world, but I believe this is the first hotel that I would like to share my review on. The food is banging, the weather in early September is perfect and it is also not too crowded in September. The only surprise in the hotel is the prices in the restaurants, which remind me of prices in Switzerland :) Personal assistants Can and Burku are always happy to help, especially Can. The dedication he has is stunning. Every single request from us was delivered perfectly. I would highly recommend visiting Maxx in Bodrum and if you are lucky, you will get Can appointed to help you out in all your requests!

Entire team, starting from Ms. Esra, who was our stay assistance during most of our stay, was extremely friendly and competent. You can very rarely have this level service even in best hotels around the world. Congrats to the whole team and the management. They set the gold standart for the industry. Property is also top notch, with lavishly decorated rooms and public areas with a gorgeous beach and two decks to the sides of it.

We stayed at the Maxx Royal Bodrum for 7 nights. The service was absolutely amazing! Best service and best holiday we ever had. Big thanks to Karina Shvediuk and Reyhan Güder, our Maxx Assistant Supervisors who made our experience perfect and welcomed us so kind and also made saying goodbye even harder with the cutest present. Also big thanks to Ali Fuat from Le Mélange who also did the best service everyday and was just so so kind to us. Big thanks also to Emrullah, who served us the best pastries at the twenty4 restaurant breakfast and later on during the day at the beach pier - he is so friendly and provides the best service. We also want to thank everybody else from the hotel staff, everybody is so friendly. The food is also really amazing and the rooms are so stylish with huge space. We are for sure coming back next year because this hotel, service, food - everything - is absolutely perfect! Best regards, thank you & see you next year Maximilian and Paulina from Germany

Beautiful hotel and the staff are so welcoming and helpful, they provide the service before you ask for it. And the kids club staff are so friendly and or kids felt so comfortable with them. The restaurants were very nice and the food variety was great.
