Stallion Springs Resort

We travel here every year. The staff and facilities are great. If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway this is your place.

We had a two bedroom, two bath unit in very good condition. This is an older property that has been well maintained. The furnishings were iin good condition, Beds were comfortable. Bathrooms were in good shape. Washer and dryer in the MB closet, worked well. There were two negatives with our unit. 1. The kitchen is VERY SMALL. like the size put in a studio apartment. Everything worked and there were plenty of plates and utensils. 2. The heating system has a distribution issue. If the bedroom doors were shut, the bedrooms would get extremely hot. If the doors were left open, the air flow would equalize and it would be comfortable. Do your shopping in Tehachapi as there are many stores available vs SS, Nice quiet resort with great views and trails nearby. We will stay here again.

We had planned this trip for our honeymoon. It was a stop over for out 9 day road trip. Was a perfect slow down for us with everything we needed for a few evenings to relax & clothes washed up to carry on. Seeing all the wildlife from out patio with morning coffee was perfect.

We went with a group of friends and had a lovely stay at this resort. The resort is in a quiet location and we could sit and watch the deer off our back deck every morning. The bedrooms and living room are spacious. The kitchen is small but has everything you need. The resort is near a number of wineries that were very enjoyable to visit. If you are looking for a quiet stay near an up and coming wine region this is the place for you.

We had a wonderful stay, we hiked the local trails, the south PCT trail, Tehachapi Mountain Peak, watched the trains, flew gliders. Mostly cooked in and the kitchen being small had everything we needed. I think we had the best room 416. Loved hearing all the wildlife at the pond. The office staff is very knowledgeable, thank you! We will definitely be back!

Stallion Springs is a place to relax and enjoy nature after busy routine life in big city we were walking around the little lake went to Tehachapi’s museums, diving into the history of such little town, Oh for wine lovers there are many many wineries around. Overall it’s been another great vacation! Thank you!
