Motel u Olka

Our room looked like recently renewed, which was a pleasant surprise. We stayed here few years ago, thanks to Tripadvisor reviews. Back then, it was OK, but the rooms were a bit aged. Being a budget motel, you don't expect luxuries, but it was better than expected: A brand new nice looking bathroom with a hairdryer, and a renewed, very big room. The style might not be the best, but everything was new, perfectly working and exceptionally clean. On top of that, the window had nice views of the lake that is behind the hotel. Of course, the motel has some limitations: You must know that there is no air conditioning (only a fan was provided) and no lift (although there are only 2 floors). However, we stayed in summer and it wasn't very hot inside. The restaurant was not open for dinners, but inside the room there was a table and a couple of chairs where you can eat your own food. There were also microwaves and kettles available at the corridor. Still, the best part of our stay was the breakfast. The price might not be the cheapest, but for 25 PLN per person, you get coffee or juice, a warm dish to chose between scrambled eggs, sausages or a combination or both (unfortunately, they would not offer pancakes as last time we visited them), bread and plenty of sweet and salty ingredients to build your own sandwiches. There are also available plastic bags allowing to prepare some take away sandwiches with the leftovers. The motel is a bit off the highway, but it's worth driving the additional 5 minutes needed to reach it. Once at the motel, there was also plenty of safe parking. Summarising, a nice experience, even for a budget motel.

Parkplatz direkt am Motel. Das Zimmer war groß und super Sauber. Das Bett war perfekt. Konnten ohne Rückenprobleme die Nacht durch schlafen. Ein See ist in der Nähe, so das man abends schön entspannen kann. Allerdings konnte man am Empfang kein Englisch! Das wäre von Vorteil in diesem Gewerbe
