Hotel in zona europa club glyfada, Glyfada

Grande hotel se vuoi essere a Glyfada. Situazione incredibile + camera d'albergo è pulita con tutto quello che ti serve. Solo in basso è che non c'è lobby alberghiero e l'ingresso non è il più accogliente, quindi non il luogo di soggiorno se si vuole trascorrere molto tempo all'hotel.

We booked the hotel Lastminute. It was rated 4 stars. But it felt more like 3 stars. The room was ok, but the bathroom was small. There was mold in the douche, and the douche was very small, dated. The room was reasonable clean. We got two bottles free water, the minibar was empty. The tv in the room was very small and limited international channels. Last day we didn’t receive free water bottles, and the reception was quite rude, as they said only the first day it was free. While we got free bottles every day, we stayed 7 days. The breakfast was fine, essentially the same every day. Selecrion was, just ok. Nothing special. It was more 3 star quality. The a la card restaurant, had surprisingly reasonable prices. The food quality was fine, but not 4 star high quality. It was more normal basic restaurant. The roof pool was ok, small, with one end quite deep 2m, and other part indeed 1m. The hotel is quite close to bus stops. Some good restaurants, shops are 5 minutes away. A public beach is close by. But it is necessary to cross a busy road. In the room the view was to see, but it was close to busy street. So some noice was there from cars, but with close windows, it was not an issue. We had regular issues with the key cards to our room. Overall the hotel is quite reasonable. But it is more like 3 stars, then 4 stars. The rooms slaan use some updates. The service I. The room can be improved with stack minibar, free water. The a la card restaurant can be better by serving more quality food. A better selection for the breakfast would also make a difference. the hotel is around 1 hour away from the centre of Athens. the bus stops around every 15-30 minutes. You cannot buy a ticket in the bus. You can request from hotel. Else get a card from metro station machines.

L'hotel era grande per il nostro gruppo di 11 persone. Le camere erano molto belle, ma per la camera di tre persone che era molto stretta con tre letti. Le docce erano un po 'strette per entrare e uscire, ma il bagno era un bel bagno europeo. Il Vino era bellissimo, soprattutto con il sole, e mia moglie e io ballavamo attraverso il sole, e i pasti erano molto belli e ci soddisfacevano, a meno che non volessimo un pasto più bello. La cucina greca di tutti i giorni era molto soddisfacente. L'accesso al tram era fantastico.

A lovely hotel in a great location and a lovely promenade by the sea to Glyfada town. The staff friendly and accomodating. We booked a see side view room having in mind that the main road passes by the hotel but if you are sensitive to noise even in this room you can hear the car noise. The only really negative point is the lack of mosquito nets on the balcony door and there are a lot of mosquitos ! We complained at the reception and they gave us a plug and tablets. The breakfast is very good and various. We didn't use the pool because the beautiful beach is nearby. All in all it is a lovely hotel with very friendly staff.

Ho prenotato su Booking.con per 11 notti. Mio figlio e io viaggiavamo insieme. Sono stato a Glyfada molte volte e dall'esterno e il palazzo del Congo lobby sembrava fantastico. La stanza che ci fu data aveva un mattone sporco, le coperte della mattresse si sentono come si metteva. Sono sceso a chiedere un'altra stanza e mi è stato detto che dovevo aggiornare...che ho fatto. La stanza rinnovata era bella, ma la doccia non aveva cortina e l'acqua andava dappertutto, ed essi stavano costruendo, e il rumore era terribile, il rumore della strada era ridicolo, mi sentivo come se dormissi in strada. Per peggiorare le cose, mio figlio era malato e noi abbiamo lasciato 5 giorni prima. Hanno rifiutato di parlare con me di un rimborso. Non hanno restituito email a Booking o a me. Ho e-mailato 3 volte senza risposta. Il personale mi ha fatto piacere, ma non avrei mai consigliato questo hotel a nessuno.

It’s very difficult to articulate the O&O experience, the expression “you need to be there to fully appreciate” definitely applies here, but I’ll give it a go! From initially stepping foot through yes, the gated community to navigating the curated grounds, interactions with all staff members as you call a ‘kalimera’ to each one to when you leave, the ‘One&Only Experience’, as I’ve dubbed it, is truly unique. Some reviews here complain about the exclusivity but one knows this is what the brand manifests in advance. And it’s actually not so inclusive as to be snobby. From the private bungalows with their own gardens and plunge pools to walking the coastline and taking a cool glass of wine on the terrace with the Saronic islands and Peloponnese as your backdrop, the ambiance oozes relaxation and discretion. Greece is famous for its filoxenia and whilst O&O isn’t a Greek brand, it’s certainly adopted the natural friendliness this country is famed for; nothing feels forced or fake with the staff interactions. And as a solo female traveler in a large setting, I didn’t feel unsafe at all. Professionalism reigned ie: Reception did not hand over my bungalow key and state its number out loud, no wait staff asked for my room number out loud and no annoying comments such as ‘Only one?’ when being shown to a table for dining (this a particular sticking point of mine in general and in other establishments when it’s prefaced with ‘only’, as if this is something to be ashamed of!) Now for the basics: - Queen or King sized bed with mattress toppers that provide the best quality sleep - Pillows to sink into - Romantic setting in bungalow with outdoor fireplace - Separate shower and roll top bath and secluded enough to ensure you can soak with magnificent views from the floor to ceiling windows - Walk in closet And of course, their Guerlain spa.

Chambre rénovée (32) il y a peu: taille moyenne mais fonctionnelle, propre, belle grande douche avec plusieurs type de jets d'eau. Literie bonne. Terrasse petite. Personnel aimable et prompt à donner des infos si nécessaire. L'hôtel est situé le long d'une grand route ce qui fait que c'est assez bruyant : il faut prévoir des bouchons d'oreille (c'est le point négatif) Situation idéale en face d'une belle plage de sable avec bars, de la station de tram et, donc, à 5 min de Glyfadas avec restos et commerces, 2 rues plus loin que l'hôtel en face de l'hôpital des boulangeries, une rue plus loin un centre commercial ensuite un parc,... et pour ceux qui doivent se rendre à l'aéroport: juste en face de l'arrêt du bus X96 (attention: acheter à la machine de l'arrêt de tram) Nous avons payé 155€ via B pour 3 nuits: excellent rapport qualité-prix; en saison, c'est logiquement plus cher ;))

The Hotel itself was very nice, excellent kind Staff, very nice room ,lovely requested king size bed, nice big bathroom ,lovely shower and very clean throughout. I was surprised to find that the beach was not as stated ” a few steps away” but a good 5/6 min walk away, also it costs €15 to go onto the beach and get an umbrella and sunbed. No view of the sea itself from where I could see maybe from the 4th floor. The breakfast was outstandingly good lots of choice loads of fruit ,juices, cooked and cold choices. My problem and consequently low rating was the Pool area not as stated and hoped for an ”oasis of tranquility ” but right next door to a working building site complete with jack hammers ,concrete mixers, dust and general shouting builder to builder. This was from 08.00 till 15.00 every week day, on one day even past the legal time. Admittedly the hotel did try to stop this unsuccessfully. Whilst I do understand this is completely out of the Hotels control I would suggest that customers be advised of this AND can then choose to find elsewhere to have a peaceful holiday. Upon discussion with the Management some of our party were compensated financially whilst others were offered vouchers to return to the same hotel . However just to say it appeared that the foundations are only just being laid so who knows when this building work will end. I think that the building work should be declared on the description and a good look at the Tariff charged to reflect the inconvenience this is not a cheap hotel to holiday in. I have complained to management and an apology was offered along with a voucher for 3 free nights however I shall not be returning. The area is very central but I advise a few miles up the coast either side much nicer restaurants and beautiful beaches. I hope this review is helpful. Un nuovo hotel, questo posto è molto contemporaneo e utilizza tutti gli spazi limitati che ha in modo molto efficiente. Abbiamo ricevuto un check-in da Valga che era amichevole, utile ed efficiente. La nostra camera era senza spot e fredda. Le letti sono molto duri, quindi avvisate se ti piace una mattina morbosa. La stanza aveva tutto quello che ci serviva, tranne il latte che dovete ottenere dalla ricezione. Un desayuno continentale può essere acquistato per €13. Ci è una piccola palestra se si sente incline a usarlo. Valga ha aiutato con una buona raccomandazione di ristorante e ha chiamato taxi di buon valore per noi. È stata una superstar. Grazie per il buon soggiorno.

I stayed here for one night on 3rd September. The location is very convenient. The port of Piraeus is safe and ”rising” a lot in recent years. If you feel like going on prettier areas, it's only a 15-minute walk or 5 minutes taxi. (Town Hall, Pasalimani/Zea, even Mikrolimano or Piraiki and so on... Metro is 3 minutes walk away too. I liked the facilities in the room (coffee maker, toiletries, ”smart” technology.) Decoration-wise, I liked the hotel. I personally like the blue color in the room, however dark shades make the room seem even smaller.The double bed was comfortable for me traveling alone for one night. It's a city hotel and I knew beforehand that the room would be small, so for me it wasn't a problem. But the classic I stayed in I don't think would be suitable for 2 people and/or a long stay. Some small complains are that there were some tiny stains on the pillows. Cleanliness was good overall, but in 4+ star hotels you expect attention to detail. The staff were polite but the inexperience of some of them shows, they seem kind of anxious and they don't talk comfortably or naturally, tt's like they're parroting a text. I didn't like the breakfast system and something urgent happened, so I left too early and didn't get one. All in all, despite any objections, it will be among my choices for the future.
