Second time staying with my daughter. Twin was was good size. I did request no interconnecting door as last time it was very noisy from connecting door.
Bathroom clean, not very eco friendly doing individual bars of soap so you can wash your hands. A bottle would last long and not need a whole new bar for each guest change. We were only there one night.
Slept ok. Average sleep. Room was dark which helped.
Unfortunately the breakfast experience is where it all went wrong, arrived just after 9am to be told the hot lamps weren’t working for self service buffet, told to place an order with lady at the hot counter.
This should have been simply but hotel has no table numbers, no numbers to hand out to guests, no way of tracking who placed what order at what time.
Poor Saturday girl was left in tears as she was left to fend off a constant stream of guests complaining where is there food, long delays.
Food was coming out but no one know who it was for. Plates being carried around getting cold going from table to table.
People obviously were leaving as they were giving up waiting.
No bowls for cereal for 40 mins, pastries had run out just after 9 and not replenished, no bowls for the yogurt.
After 50 mins myself and my daughter had an odd Mis-match of breakfast that we could get together. Finally got a small bit of hot food.
No offer of compensation when leaving, just told they know it was a shambles. Hotel manager should have been present supporting their staff.
