OYO Go2 Gloucester Hotel

A good budget no frills hotel about 15 minutes outside of Gloucester,on site parking, clean room.with ensuite (everything worked ).comfy and clean large double bed , quiet , inside and out and a very helpful guy on reception when I checked in.Very goo value for the money.

Thank the lord we arrived late and had to leave early..If you’re offered room 24 refuse it. Positive was, bed appeared clean, more than can be said for the rest of the room. Can’t decide what the furniture even was🤨. Carpets very grubby. Bathroom🤢,marks on walls who knows off what🤷,  1 cup for 2 guests, tea and sugar, no coffee (not that we’d have used it anyway)🤮 Constant noise from other rooms and bathroom fan ran all night.  Needless to say we will never return.

Had a great stay very welcoming staff are really nice and nice to talk 2 be staying there again and will be telling family and friends

Amazing staff especially Anthony helped us a lot while we was here all the staff are amazing and help whenever they can definitely recommend

Our experience at this hotel was deeply disappointing. We arrived late and were assigned the first room, which was in a shockingly unhygienic state: blobs of food smeared on the walls, hair in the shower, and visible dirt throughout. We started wiping things down ourselves, but stopped once we saw just how filthy the shower was—it simply wasn’t sanitary. We asked to change rooms and were told, rather dismissively, that “wipes don’t clean blobs of food.” The second room was cleaner, but still felt like it had been tidied by someone without proper training or standards. Surfaces were streaky, corners untouched, and the towels had black marks and stains that made us question whether they’d been laundered at all. On the morning of the check out, a staff member came to our door before 11am, not to check on our comfort, but to ask if we’d pay for a late checkout and when we declined, he said he "wanted to remind us that checkout was at 11". It felt rushed and transactional, not welcoming. What was most uncomfortable, though, was that he begged us not to leave a bad review—as if moving us to a slightly cleaner room should erase the original experience. Cleanliness and basic hospitality are non-negotiable. This stay left us feeling uncomfortable and undervalued. I hope the hotel takes this feedback seriously and improves both their cleaning protocols and how they communicate with guests.

Great hospitality,feels like home away from home,serene environment close to the City centre,bus stations and other side attractions of Gloucester. Professional, friendly and courteous staff,especially AFAQ,he was exceptional,always there to respond ti the needs of guests. Pocket friendly hotel,suitable for family vacations as provisions are made for Pets.
