Good service , good location . Good cafe downstairs . Nice swimming pool .  The piano in the lobby is just for display is a shame , the front doorman is not very patient. Could do better.

This is a beautiful Hotel in a fantastic location. It is truly superb however my experience with the staff was below par. I had to ask the cleaner not to talk incessantly and loudly outside my room at 8am in the morning. Breakfast was sloppily served and the breakfast buffet area was disjointed so people and plates are bumping, the omelette ordering system wasn't explained and the staff looked at me like I was stupid and causing them inconvenience. The pancake maker needs servicing. The CEO of the hotel was talking to his staff at 10:15 am which was 15 minutes before breakfast service stopped. I recognised him from his picture on the TV in the room saying how privileged the hotel was to have us as a guest, however he didn't smile at his guests or stop and say hello and ask perhaps how our experience was. He was aloof and disinterested and I think that is how his staff act too, eg the cleaner was not genuinely sorry for causing the early morning noise, nor was the reception staff truly respectful when they allowed a one hour room use extension but forgot to apply the extra time to the key lock so I was locked out and had to come down 8 floors to rectify get access to the room. The hotel has an offer that if you do not get your room serviced on a 2 night stay then a $10 food voucher applies. Well, that exercise turned out to be like stealing gold. I was eligible for $20 as I had books two rooms but staff were really reluctant to acknowledge this offer. It's a great idea as it saves them costs to launder sheets and towels and also saves costs to clean the room and replenish toiletries. I don't know why they appeared so reluctant to honor it. Except for staff and customer service this hotel would receive a five star rating from me but now only a three and a half.

Very good experience in Glenelg on a rainy day especially the buffet breakfast I really like the poached egg

Excellent location and view, but the room and hotel style is a little bit out of fashion.

My first time to Adelaide, Stamford at Glenelg make me want to move to Adelaide, location, service and the people.

Right by the ocean, beautiful view. tram station by hotel. big room. friendly service

Not a lot to do when staying mid week, in hotel and out. Restaurant menu had minimal choices and downstair toilets stank of stale urine. Was a shame.

Lift is out of service. Pool is down. Hotel maintenance level is poorer than imagination. Offer and service have room to improve. A bit disappointed compare to all those marketing materials.

Good location for accessing beach, restaurant, enjoying the sunset. Convenient for EV charging

GREAT LOCTION , VERY GOOD SERVICE, EXCPT THAT THE RESTAURANT CLOSES AT 8PM BIT ANNOYING, NO FREE CAR PARK NEED TO PAY FOR IT

Great location. The pool was closed for our entire stay, and some of the front desk staff were rude and not helpful at all.

We had a lovely time at the Stamford Grand - the location is excellent for getting around Adelaide, the room was spacious with a lovely view. The hotel team are all very polite and friendly. We didn’t book the breakfast and instead were out and about around Adelaide during the days. One thing to note for guests - there’s a lively bar that plays music which you can hear very easily in the rooms until about midnight. It didn’t bother us at all (and would probably also be great if you were using the bar yourself!) but something to think about if it’s really not your cup of tea.
