Relax and enjoy a newly remodeled quaint home with all the modern amenities. The main floor hosts a living/dining room, full kitchen, bathroom with walk-in shower and laundry room. Upstairs, find a roomy queen and double over queen bunk room as well as a private king room. Relax on the back porch, complete with outdoor dining table, grill and hammock chair. Explore our canyon to your hearts content. Watch for wildlife, including deer, turkeys, squirrels, chipmunks and a variety of birds. Within a half hour of Zion National Park to the south and 45 minutes of Bryce Canyon National Park to the north with beauty and natural attractions all around, Lydia's Country Cottage will capture your heart and be the perfect destination for your memory making. Half of VRBOs seem to be folks trying to make money on a property they live far away from. Those folks beg for 5-star reviews before you've even arrived, but don't provide coffee or paper towels. The other half of VRBOs seem to be caring people who live close to the rental, people who just want you to enjoy your stay. This is one where the owners care, and it shows. If you like the idea of taking your morning coffee on the deck in a secluded canyon, with every kitchen convenience provided, then this is your place. No one will bother you, but they are there if you need something. You won't need anything, as they already thought of everything and actually turned on the lights in the place when we weren't checked in by dark. Lovely place with lovely owners. Highly recommended.

Zion-Bryce trip
Stayed at Cottage while exploring Zion and Bryce Canyons. Especially liked the remote location of the cottage more than a mile down a dirt road and half-way between Zion & Bryce. View of stars at night was remarkable. Great place for a couple. Comfortable bed with clean linens. Adequately stocked kitchen allowed us to enjoy breakfast each morning and cook meals every night. Only downside was bedroom on second floor and bathroom on first floor with stairs at opposite end of cottage meant a long walk when waking in middle of night to nature's call. Washer-dryer in cottage meant we traveled home with clean clothes. Fast and reliable WiFi. Used big screen TV each evening to watch photos and videos we had taken that day.

Great cottage

Long weekend stay over spring break
A nice, quiet,very functional place. Good water pressure in the shower. Large beds, including the bunk bed. Apple TV worked well and the couches were large and cushy. Stars were beautiful at night. Some very friendly dogs running around the broader property. Only recommendations are finicky kitchen related stuff: would be nice to have spare garbage bags under the sink and a sponge with a scrubby side so I could do a better job on the dishes. One of the kitchen cabinet doors was already broken as well.

Short visit between Christmas and new years
The cottage was cozy, clean and warm. It was a bit tricky to find and there was no cell service so it was not possible to call to ask for directions. Location was very convenient for Bryce and Zion. Stars were amazing at night.

Beautiful area and a clean and cozy stay
We loved our time here! The host was responsive and welcoming. Everything you need in the kitchen, and around the cottage was clean. There were friendly dogs living nearby who came to say hi frequently, we loved it! My husband and kids enjoyed fishing in the private pond after a long day of hiking.
We would gladly stay there again!

Secluded comfortable stay
Location was great if you plan to visit Bryce and Zion NPs, beds were comfortable, and kitchen has all basic necessities. The owner was very responsive and pleasant when communicating with us. Tiny suggestion though - to add command hooks on bathroom door and master bedroom door, and provide a couple of throws. On warmer side.

Great overall stay
Overall we had a great stay Mercy was able to respond to most of our needs and we appreciated that. Loved the quiet road with lots of trees! Was great to access both Zion and Bryce Canyon. Cute place worked great for our family.
