Hotel a Glebe

"When looking for a Hotel close to the center and to a major station, this one came up as the overall winner when considering price, location, and facilities. We booked two rooms, and the staff was immediately very helpful and responsive. In fact, I asked about a late check-in (after closing time) and I had an immediate, positive reply. This was confirmed at the check-in. The facilities are a bit what you would expect. Everything is reasonably clean, but the carpet and furniture are a bit old. The bed was ok, yet, I noticed that the fitted sheet did not reach the bottom of the mattress, which I found really bizarre. The room was overall quiet, although it had no windows, thin walls, and part of the roof looked like it was letting some light through. Also, I disconnected the fridge to keep it quieter. A kettle with some coffee and tea were provided, and some food from the previous guest was in the fridge. As many have mentioned, I did not see an actual breakfast buffet. For this reason, I preferred having breakfast in one of the cafés around the area. Finally, it does not seem that the room was cleaned after our first night, but I read that room service has to be requested, and we did not need it. All things considered, my family and I had a good stay. For sure, it feels like we spent a lot for what we got, but this seems more due to the area than anything else."

"Great hostel, we had a queen room with a en suite. There was also a kettle and microwave in the room too which was handy. They have shared kitchens, chill areas and also a gym which was pretty cool. Overall stay was lovely, would recommend!"

"La stanza era vicino a una strada occupata.Le finestre non sono la prova più acustica. Sembra che, nonostante il prezzo elevato, la stanza non ha finito per rendere il soggiorno comodo. Solo pieno di luci o di un orologio di allarme che non è sufficiente per una luce da tavola laterale. La TV è montata in modo che non c'è posto dove stare confortevolmente seduto o a sedere e guardarlo. Il tessuto si accostava al bagno. Non c'era un posto conveniente per le tovalette."

"I recently stayed at this place with a group of friends, and we had a satisfying experience. The location was excellent, offering easy access to nearby attractions, and restaurants. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff were friendly and accommodating."

"L'hotel non è grande e la stanza è un po'piccola.Non c'è spazzolino, quindi non posso fare il cibo cinese.Ci sono microonde e dischi, ma non c'è un motore a fumo. Il parcheggio è in chiesa all'altra parte della strada."

"1.The bed on one side,felt like it had a broken spring because it was like sinking into a bean bag. Not good. 2.The bathroom had a terrible smell coming from the drain in the shower,it was bad enough we had to call reception to come n try n sort it out,the staff did a quick fix,but it was not ideal,they did offer to move us to another room,but we had unpacked and settled in.we just opened a window and tried to get fresh air through the room. 3. The fire alarm went off for a short time and we were told to wait for further instructions,still waiting and we checked out yesterday lol. We tried to ring reception from our room to find out more about the situation,no answer. So we dialled out of our room and rang Rydges and got through to them that way. 4. The day of checkout,was anytime before 11am, at 9 am I was in bed,my partner was in the bathroom,the door opens,no knock to let us know someone was at the door,the cleaner just walked in and then starts apologizing when she notices me in bed,I was NOT HAPPY. 5.Went down to the buffet breakfast,they couldn't find us/ our name n room number and had to check with reception to confirm we were booked in & paying guests before we could be seated. My partner did enjoy his bacon & eggs breakfast,the yoghurt I had was rather bland. The staff were very helpful and respectful when we needed them to be and they did give us a free breakfast to compensate But the negatives make me question whether I'd stay there again The positives are the location ( which is great ) and the helpful staff who were friendly and polite,but they can only do so much in certain situations."

"地點距離輕鐵站的距離接近, 一間充滿特色的舊式小旅館 但留意, 由於是舊式的小旅店, 是沒有電梯的. 也沒有接待處, 客人需要到入口旁邊的小酒館辦理入住手續. 房間的設計保留舊式裝飾部份, 給人帶有田園鄉村的味道,又不會太破舊. 房間有獨立浴室, 浴室環境整潔, 總體入住經驗舒適以及有舊式風味的. 唯在入口旁的小酒吧雖然很有特色, 但發現有小曱甴,令人感到卻步. 酒吧的朋友都很熱情, 讓我深深感受澳洲人的熱情及歡迎. The location is close to a light rail station, a quaint, old-style small inn. However, be mindful that as an old-style inn, there is no elevator. There is also no reception desk; guests need to check in at the small tavern next to the entrance. The rooms maintain some old-style decorations, providing a rustic and pastoral feel without being too run-down. Each room has a private bathroom, which is clean, and overall the stay is comfortable with an old-world charm. However, the small tavern by the entrance, although quite distinctive, was found to have small cockroaches, which was off-putting. The friends at the bar are very warm, making me deeply feel the enthusiasm and welcoming nature of Australians."
