Hotel in zona Pollokshields East, Glasgow

Avevo un bellissimo soggiorno di una notte. Check in con Fiona è stato molto accogliente ed efficiente. Il bevanda benvenuta è un bel toccamento, soprattutto se sei da solo. Usato The Nook qualche volta. Ho sentito che la musica degli 80 nella sauna non era necessaria, ma se è la tua vibe! La colazione era occupata e ho dovuto aspettare qualche minuto per sedermi, un altro membro del personale alla porta sarebbe utile.

Abbiamo fatto un giro di hotel e il radione rosso era li' con il migliore di loro il personale era davvero amichevole l'hotel totale incluso la camera era spotless.Cosa dire una frigorifero nella stanza avrebbe potuto fare con una bottiglia o 2 di acqua a parte da che non può lamentarsi

A causa di un volo disturbato, sono arrivato a Glasgow alle 1:00, e rapidamente è diventato chiaro che la grande convenzione della città significava che la disponibilità dell'hotel sarebbe diventata un vero problema. Dopo diversi tentativi di trovare una stanza, sono arrivato al giardino e Javier dalla stanza del fronte, e mi sono lasciato entrare (la porta era chiusa come era ora due ore) e mi sono trovato una stanza molto comoda. Egli era molto comprensivo delle sfide che ho incontrato in viaggio, mi ha controllato in fretta ed efficiente, mi ha dato una bottiglia d'acqua complimentare, la stanza era moderna e il letto era estremamente confortevole. Ci sono stati molti plug e sockets USB ben posizionati. Grande doccia e servizi. Questo è un grande hotel e Javier è un credito al marchio Marriott.

We were really excited to book this hotel looking at reviews and based on fact it was new and modern But soon we came down to Earth Over priced , location not easily accessible, room small, no shower mat in shower. Rooms are on same standard of modern travelodge or premier inns which you can accept for the price you pay , 156£ for a twin room for one night is not a fair price if you deliver same standard of travelodge in main queen street selling the same rooms with same amenities at 68£ or premier inn at glasgow airport at 89£ and trust me their price was justified by location first of all than amenities and rich selection of breakfast and freshly baked items Breakfast at chops was a disgrace and overpriced , breakfast items like brioches and muffins dry and old , stale food we went down on morning around 9 am there were just 4 tables eating so can't say it was a busy morning , staff seems annoyed to see guests and there was no choice of vegetarian breakfast available , we had to ask for some vegetarian items and the vegetarian sausages were horrendous , they presented us with a square tile sausage of morrisons which was extremely dry and smelly ,literally leather piece , i was disappointed to leave it to the bin as i am against the food wastage and had to left on table dry muffins dry croissants and dry sausages , had to ask for an omelette with tomatoes and they refused to make it tomatoes than asked for a simple and waiter came out with tomatoes one ,i assume waiter added tomatoes Chunk om top coz chef refused to make it and when chef refused to add items on a dish we all know in hospitality it comes as premade dish so they dnt want to take responsability . On leaving the chops no bye or interaction from staff, On bar bed and breakfast rate in a 4 star hotels at least a water bottle is provided in room and on booking we were told there was a fridge in room as minibar , reading other reviews of guests confirming they were provided with minibar items on arrival we booked this as extra and found fridge empty . Not fitt for health and safety as the main pillars of the building in main public areas are uncovered and concrete is falling in chunks from corners coz the pillars are not covered , same is on the ceiling of main entrance and reception area which is uncovered , was playing pool in reception area and got scratches from the rough corners of the pillar next to pool . Absolutely not a 4 star and not a full English breakfast, maybe can be a 1/4 of English breakfast if we want to be honest .

Stayed here for 5nights while attending a conference at the SEC. Very friendly welcome at reception. Room was clean and tidy. Just one issue, someone had left some clothing in the drawer but housekeeping sorted this immediately. Ate in the restaurant twice with room service once. Food was lovely. Restaurant and bar staff were amazing. Very friendly and helpful. Nothing seemed too much trouble. Used the spa once and again it was very clean and tidy. Put off slightly by some younger lads messing around. My only real criticism would be the breakfast. The staff were great but the selection was poor. Only fresh fruit was a bowl of what looked like frozen berries because they were sat in liquid. No cold meats, cheese or fat free yoghurt. No hot chocolate option. Only egg choice was scrambled (due to the egg shortage according to the waiter, does that mean the scrambled eggs were powdered?). No haggis or black pudding either. What was available was tasty and did the job but as we were there for 5 days I would have liked a lighter breakfast option. Starbucks was fab. Easy access to the SEC and the station to get into town. Clean, tidy, friendly, helpful. I would definitely return.

Ottimo hotel. Grande posizione per l'idro Glasgow. Hotel molto pulito e tempestivo. Anche il personale era grande. Il personale sia al check-in che al check-out erano estremamente gentile. Anche io avevo problemi a prenotare il ristorante online, quindi ho e-mailato e una signora chiamata Georgiana mi ha ordinato la prenotazione e ha risposto così velocemente. Il ristorante era anche grande e il cibo era bellissimo. Penso che la cameriera fosse chiamata Laura, ed era così amichevole e utile. Ho un altro concerto che arriva in aprile presso l'Hydro e sicuramente prenoterò questo hotel di nuovo.

Il servizio è stato piacevole, l'hotel si trova lungo l'autostrada e dispone di un supermercato accanto a alcune joint di fast food. L'hotel non è esattamente in una posizione turistica, ma serve come un luogo conveniente per filare fuori e indietro quando si visitano molti luoghi. La colazione è stata servita con salsa, bacon, uova, cereali, ecc. abbastanza normale di cui entrambi i miei figli avevano goduto. La camera era pulita e spaziosa con letto matrimoniale e divano letto. Se in futuro visitaremo la Scozia, questo hotel sarà certamente a nostra disposizione.

L'illuminazione in tutto l'edificio è molto sottile. Bella e rilassante musica e atmosfera. Solo una mano e un asciugamano nel bagno e, sebbene ci fosse più nel fondo del letto, non sapevamo dove trovarli fino a quando non ci siamo accorti. Ero nel bagno prima di capire che non c'era un secondo asciugamano e era troppo tardi per ricevere telefono. La prenotazione aveva 2 nomi per la camera, quindi avremmo aspettato adeguati asciugamani nella camera da bagno o visibili nella camera piuttosto che sotto il letto.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel dal 29/06 al 31/06 2022 (due notti in formula B&B - stanza n. 467) . L'hotel è vicinissimo alla stazione dei bus di Buchanan (per la precisione noi siamo arrivati dall'aeroporto di Edimburgo con il bus e, dopo 2 minuti a piedi eravamo già in hotel!!!). La stanza pulita e confortevole, di dimensioni adeguate, fornita di bollitore e tutto il necessario per farsi un caffè o un the. Personale della reception molto disponibile e cortese. Il giorno del check-out è possibile chiedere di lasciare i bagagli in deposito per girare Glasgow in tutta liberta. L'hotel è posizionato in un punto da cui è molto semplice e veloce raggiungere a piedi le vie centrali di Glasgow (Buchanan Street e West Nile Street ad esempio). Voto personale complessivo: 8. Rapporto qualità-prezzo: 7 1/2.
