The Fullarton Park Hotel

The place is being renovated but this wasn't communicated beforehand so I had to use the back entrance to go in and walk through a construction site. The room is very dusty, the carpet wasn't hoovered properly. The bathroom is not quite clean and when I tried to make a cup of tea the cups were dirty. I had to pre-wash the cup and use it again. My bed was lopsided, the mattress made a noise with each movement. The room shook each time a car sped past outside. I couldn't sleep at all. I requested a partial refund as I could not spend another night there and they refused to refund me! The porter even told me that they knew about the room shaking! Terrible service. Don't bother booking at all.

The staff were not helpful. I called to let them know I would not arrive until 10 pm, and I was told that there was staff on duty 24 hours a day and the hotel was undergoing refurbishment. When I got there, no one knew I was coming, and the person was annoyed that I had come to the wrong fire exit to enter the hotel.

Very friendly staff good location, bus stop right outside takes you straight into town. Room was pretty good for the cost, i would stay there again
