Hotel in zona Bòlit, Contemporary Art Center. Girona, Gerona

Molto gentile le receptioniste, tutto molto pulito. Molto vicino a tutto quello che si vede in città. Anche se il riscaldamento produce un continuo tacchetto, tutta la notte, tutto il giorno ... Pariamo il minibar perché non aveva ancora niente dentro scaldava e è molto rumorevole. E il vicino che parlava alti per il cellulare? La doccia troppo stretta, non è adatto. È un buon hotel conveniente per passare un paio di giorni senza spendere troppo. Non è per est**** confortevole, per questo si prende una camera in hotel più categoria con divano e servizi dimastrella, è un posto di passo, per dormire e godere il soggiorno nella bella città di Girona. Per quanto meno € che nel parcheggio del Mercat, hanno posti in un privato: se avessimo saputo prima di arrivare avremmo risparmiato 8€ x3h... Avvertimento ai turisti: Girona è una città cara !! In definitiva, un hotel ragionevole per i bilanci corretti.

The decor of this budget hotel is fairly basic, as you might expect. The bed was, oddly, a double bed with a children's bunk on top of it, reached by a ladder. It was fairly quiet, with some stomping from above before midnight, but then nothing. There was a fairly good window blocking noise from outside (it was a ground floor room). The A/C was also nice and quiet. The bed was comfortable, once you got past the ladder, but it's easy to hit your head on it and it obstructs the view of the (small) TV, which is not pointed properly towards the bed. The shower cubicle is wide, but pointlessly so, because the shower isn't powerful enough to reach very far. You can also easily turn off the water with your bottom, which I hate. There were some spots of mould on the ceiling, and the fan doesn't work - two possibly not unrelated facts. The breakfast was good, with lots of options. Soundproofing: 4/5 Breakfast: 4/5 Bed: 2.5/5 Bath/shower: 2.5/5 Friendliness: 3/5 La decoración de este hotel barato es bastante básica, como cabe esperar. Extrañamente, la cama doble tenía una litera encima para niños, que se alcanza a través de una escalera. La habitación era bastante silenciosa, con algunos pisotones audibles desde arriba antes de medianoche, pero luego nada. Tenía una ventana bastante buena que aislaba del ruido de fuera (estaba en la planta baja). El aire acondicionado también era bastante silencioso. La cama era cómoda, a pesar de la escalera, pero es fácil d**** con la cabeza contra ella, y obstruye la visión de la téle (pequeña), que no está bien orientada hacia la cama. La ducha es amplia, pero inútilmente, porque la baja potencia y ángulo de la ducha te obliga a estar pegado a un lado, donde es fácil apagar el agua con el culo (algo que odio). Hay moho en el techo y el ventilador no funciona, dos hechos que sospecho que están relacionados. El desayuno era bueno, con bastantes opciones. Abbiamo soggiornato nell'hotel IBIS mentre facevamo il nostro viaggio stradale. Non è lontano dall'autostrada. Questo è uno dei pochi hotel della città che avevano effettivamente chiuso parcheggio sotterraneo, poiché la nostra auto era completamente imballata e non vorrei sconfezionare tutte le nostre proprietà nella stanza dell'hotel. Non siamo riusciti a prenotare il parcheggio, ma siamo stati fortunati e abbiamo il posto per 12 e. Il garage non è grande, quindi se hai bisogno di parcheggio sicuro, consiglio di non venire troppo tardi, perché l'hotel si occupa di più tardi di notte. Abbiamo letto alcune recensioni che il parcheggio gratuito fuori strada non è sicuro e che alcuni degli ospiti dell'hotel hanno vissuto la finestra rotta e il furto delle loro proprietà. L'hotel in sé era medio. Ci è anche un hotel di bilancio IBIS nella stessa zona. Il letto era confortevole, accettano cani. Le porte del bagno nella camera 124 non possono essere chiuse.

Grande hotel, molto bel piscine, il personale era amichevole e utile. Il pranzo era brillante e molto ragionevole, ci mangiavamo lì due delle quattro notti. Molti sul menu, anche tutta la coda di pesce moscato. Anche i pasti massicci. Il colazione era così, ma il prezzo standard. The location is great if you’re mobile but the bus stop is just across the road so you can get into town easily either way (about a 20 minutes walk, less than ten minutes on the bus). Se stai cercando di visitare le spiagge, essere preparati per un viaggio perché sono molto lontani e difficile da navigare attraverso il trasporto pubblico. Taxi sono costosi. Il personale dell'hotel ha stampato i tempi per noi perché non mostrano su Google Map. Ma lo consigliammo molto, ma andammo a snorkeling e a caiacchiere, vedemmo octopus e esplorammo caverne. Solo negativo per dire sull'hotel è che si pagano per il tubo caldo e è €7 per persona. Sembra che dovrebbe essere incluso, ma forse si ottiene una quantità specifica di slot in base alla durata del soggiorno? Non sembrava che nessuno lo stava prenotando e immagino sia perché la maggior parte delle persone pensa che dovrebbe essere incluso.

Wow, an amazing hotel - perfectly located, whisper quiet and feels brand new. We arrived on a Saturday for 2nights exploring Girona and couldn't have been more delighted. Our room was a suite on level 5 (room 520) and it was sensational. A great lounge room, light and bright with a massive tv (the biggest I've ever seen in a hotel) and comfy couches, tea and coffee making facilities and a sliding door to the massive bedroom (allowing me to go to bed while my husband watched tv till late). The bedroom was great too - large, light and bright (but importantly with block out blinds) and there was also a massive tv in the bedroom (so I did watch some tv before falling asleep). Airconditioning in both rooms on separate units. Also a walk in wardrobe. The sleep quality was excellent as it's whisper quiet despite being located on a major road - the windows are double glazed. The bathroom had a great shower/bath with great water pressure and hot water. Big white fluffy towels. And the bathrooms was big too. Breakfast is served downstairs in a large, light and bright room. It's a buffet and has a great range of fresh meats and cheeses, pastries and hot items. Coffee is either freshly ground or a pod (your choice). There is a hidden rooftop bar and pool (not widely publicized) - on the sixth floor - and a great spot to see Girona and watch the sunset. The location is brilliant. Aldi, Lidl and Mercadona are all literally opposite the hotel (open everyday except Sunday). There is a Carrefour Express a 2minute walk away for Sundays. Great restaurants within walking distance (5-10minutes) - with our favourite La Gioia (a fantastic pizzeria - authentic wood fired pizzas and wonderful service). The old town (no cars) is a 10minute walk away - and I'd recommend walking there via the Parc de la Devesa which is just gorgeous (adjacent to a large tree lined street - perfect and safe to walk along and the park is great for kids, dogs and to just to relax). Parking is so easy. Free parking behind the Aldi and Lidl. Staff were fantastic - warm, friendly, helpful and importantly spoke multiple languages. Special shoutout to Alex, Julia and Roby (and the whole breakfast team). We loved our stay at Doubletree Girona and would definitely stay there again if visiting Girona - which is a great city to explore (and great to cycle in).

Il quartiere dell'hotel è il centro commerciale del palazzo britannico. Ci sono decine di metri a piedi da un ristorante cinese, che è conveniente e delizioso.

Hotel economico con tutto quello che è necessario. vicino all'autostrada. Pulizia. Le zappe bianche e pulite, le lenzuola e le mutandine comode. La colazione di base e corretta. Il personale molto amabile e corretto. Un saluto per la ragazza che era in reception e a volte preparava la colazione con un pannolino sulla testa. Sempre sorridendo. Permettete cani. E' fantastico che ci siano caffè e infusioni gratuite. La piccola colpa che le metto è che il bagno ha la porta e un po' di parete di cristallo opaco, ma si disturba con i rumore e la luce, se il compagno dorme, ma ancora ripeteremo nella nostra prossima visita a Girona.

My husband and I came as day guests because we wanted the use of a swimming pool. You pay €30 and get a towel and 1 drink (beer or soft drink). When we arrived the outdoor pool was like ice, we're hardy swimmers but this was ice ice and so we asked if we could swim in the indoor pool. No, you pay €30 to use the spa, we asked if we could pay for the spa instead of the outdoor pass and they said yes, but you cannot then sit outside???!! We said we didn't want to be sat indoors all day so got the outdoor pass. After an hour, noticing there was not one single other person at the indoor or outdoor pool, we explained again that the outdoor pool was unusable so could we just have one swim in the indoor pool otherwise we have paid €30 for a towel and a chair (which we have on our large terrace at our accommodation for free!). We even offered to forego the free drinks to do so. We werent trying to get freebies, just asking for the ability to go for a swim like we'd paid for, making it clear we would not use the jacuzzi or anything else in the spa. Receptionist said she would get back to us in half an hour. 2 hours later....Nothing. Went back in and had to explain it all to 2 new ladies. Come back in 20 minutes. Went back and they said if you want to use the indoor pool you have to pay another €30. It was absolutely baffling that with zero other guests using the facilities and knowing we had paid for a pass to have use of a pool, they would not let us have 1 swim in an empty indoor pool. What difference does it make to them if we swim indoor or outdoor, zero. What difference would it have made to us, total. The actual advert for the pass doesnt even specify that the pool is outdoor only and when we emailed them in advance was also not advised this, nor that we had to have passports to enter (fortunately i had a photo of them on my phone, otherwise we would have had a wasted 30minute journey) because we were told we could not enter using our drivers license. Our sole purpose for coming was to swim, I'd had a bad fall and injured my leg and back quite severely and was coming to try and relieve it by swimming, instead I went back €30 worse off, irritated and still in pain. Their customer service skills and logic were appalling. What could have been a lovely, relaxing day out was totally overshadowed by their lack of hospitality.

Una tre giorni senza respiro, travolgente, ma vissuta in un ambiente che ti fa dimenticare tutto quello che c’è fuori dal perimetro del resort! Un luna park per golfisti: esperti e meno esperti. Ognuno può trovare la dimensione per il suo gioco, ma se sbagli una buca basta che ti guardi intorno e dimentichi tutto. Qualche filo d’erba (due o tre) ti ricordano che il campo è reale e non sei in un videogame! Tutto e perfetto curato nei minimi dettagli. L’hotel Camiral ti accoglie con una pensilina avveniristica di acciaio e cristallo, incorniciata da piante e rampicanti. L’interno è ordinato ed essenziale, la cura nella scelta dei colori e dell’arredamento si nota in ogni particolare. Le camere sono grandi e spaziose, così come il letto dove si potrebbe dormire comodamente in tre. Tutto e pulito ed ordinato con attenzione quasi maniacale. Bagno con doccia - super - e vasca per rilassarsi. La nostra camera aveva vista sul retro: piscina con solarium e gazebo, zona ristorante all’aperto. La colazione (inclusa) è quasi un pranzo di nozze, con il via vai degli ospiti e del personale - numeroso, disponibile e gentilissimo - puoi chiedere, quasi, qualsiasi cosa. Menzione speciale per omelette e uova strapazzate. Medaglia d’oro al “jamon”. Il ristobar del golf offre cose sfiziose, meritano un passaggio nel nostro piatto: polpette, club sandwich, hamburger! Tutto annaffiato con dell’ottima birra. Il ristorante dell’hotel è buono anche se qualche piatto è un po’ troppo complicato. Inappuntabile il servizio di Concierge ed assistenza clienti - Grazie alla S.ra Carola che ci ha aiutato insiemi ai suoi colleghi ad organizzare una serata in un ristorante tipico di Girona. Unico dispiacere dover partire per tornare a casa, ma ritorneremo!
