We had the pleasure of staying at Kavish Gir Lion Resort on the 16th and 17th of December, and it was an unforgettable experience. This hidden gem, situated ***** the peaceful riverbanks, is a slice of paradise that’s hard to find through a regular Google search. We stayed in a spacious Pool View Villa, which was equipped with all modern amenities. The villa offered incredible comfort and luxury, perfectly blending with the natural surroundings. The resort features a big, clean pool with a stunning view of the river—truly the highlight of our stay. Adding to the charm, the resort is dotted with lush mango trees, creating a tranquil and refreshing ambiance. It’s the perfect place to disconnect from the chaos of daily life and immerse yourself in nature. The hospitality here is unmatched. Kailashji, the manager, was incredibly welcoming and ensured our every need was met. The support staff was equally attentive, making our stay even more enjoyable. If you’re planning a visit to Sasangir, I highly recommend Kavish Gir Lion Resort for its peaceful atmosphere, excellent facilities, and exceptional service. It’s a true hidden treasure!

The resort was nice. I had booked a room assuming it was river facing but instead got one atop the restaurent with no view. the room was big though the washroom was crowded. the food was average. the campus was good and well laid out. the river facing cottages as well as pool villas were really looking good for a longer stay. My only disappointment was that since we had booked two safaris to GIR national park with an interval of 3 hrs in between so had requested for a late check out so that we could come and rest in between before the second safri. But they refused saying they were sold out though as went for a walk it was evident that it was 90 percent unaccoupied. So showing this much of courtesy and hospitality towards the travellers and that too senior citizens would have been actually true hospitality. When a resort is crowded I can understand their stand but when you many many rooms available this request could hve been adjusted I think.

The location and rooms are awesome. We got a river view cottage and got great views to a nearby river. It's also close to the GIR sanctuary and easy to travel. The food quality was good but they didn't have too many options. Cons - they need to improve quality of service a little bit, improve bathroom fittings to match 4 star standards.

I was here for 3 nights, I must tell you that we had an excellent experience at the hotel. The General Manager, Mr Kailash took really good care of us. He e had a fabulous time. Food was par excellence. Thank you so much Kailashji.. The hotel is located in a peaceful and serene experience

Very well maintained property, rooms were spacious and clean. We stayed here for one night, which was peaceful and would highly recommend stay at Kavish The Gir Lion resort. Highlight of the stay was the tribal dance organised by hotel management post dinner.

Visited on 31/12/2024 , with group of friends….. This place is centrally located in Sasan , which is close to all Safari…. High standards for cleaning…. On Food front…. Can’t ask more, as provided High Tea with hot snacks in evening…. With customised vegetarian menu for all…. Provided best New Year party on lushy green lawns with DJ night… Mr Kailash MEENA , General manager, looked after whole group of 4 families like his own… from arrival to departure…. Must visit again….

An excellent venue with awesome foods options for breakfast & dinner…. Provided personalised menu for breakfast for vegetarian… staff service level at its best….. strongly recommend for Gir Safari as it’s just close to Departure point of Susan Sinh Sadan & Devadia as well….

Good resorts and food. Overall good experience. Can have better sports equipments. In room internet was not working. Good arrangement of Gala dinner. Staff was supportive and helpful. Parking facilities was excellent. Swimming pool don’t have warm water.

Nice service with nice ambience and food. They have put lot of efforts for arranging 31st Dec party. Good place to stay and chill. River side is view is also good and worth selecting those rooms. Totally recommended and worth selecting……..,
