Hotel Restaurant Zur Marienburg

We just returned from a trip to Europe that included a 4 night stay at Hotel Restaurant Zur Marienburg. We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful hotel. The hotel is just beautiful and very clean. The hotel and restaurant staff go out of their way to make your stay very enjoyable. The food in the restaurant was just delicious and every morning there was a huge assortment of delicious breakfast foods. The food presentation was so professional. Additionally, they had an afternoon coffee and cake area with the most delicious desserts. If we ever get the chance to return to this area, we will definitely stay here again and would recommend it to everyone! Everything at the hotel and restaurant is first class!

We reserved a short stay with gastronomic evening meal (package) and explore the Mosel environment from Pünderich with our E-bike. This was the best experience ever we had at the Mosel. The location was Top. The personnel was friendly and the breakfast and evening meal were excellent.

Hotel was well situated, nicely decorated and quiet & comfortable rooms. The room, the bath room and especially the balcony were very much to our liking: the balcony offered a great view towards Marienburg. Also the service by the reception was smiling and great. We were on a bicycling holiday and thus the hotel offering a room with a four course dinner package sounded very tempting. The restaurant itself looked great and the service also here was friendly and smiling - but otherwise not professional at all. It started with food having come in the wrong order as they realised only after the first course that they had forgotten to bring the appetizer. Then we had to remind them that we had ordered a bottle of water. When the main courses arrived they did not bring the wine that I had ordered for that - I reminded them of that and the person who brought the food promised to remind our waiter, I waited a while, but when nothing happened I started eating slowly so that the food would not be totally cold when the wine arrives. Having ate my food halfway, and not seen a trace of any waiters, I decided to search our waiter myself. I found him and got my wine, but again it took so long that I had already finished the main course when it finally arrived. - people from two neighboring tables shared our frustration as they had had similar problems. Having ate in a restaurant for over 500 times in my life I have to say that this was one of the worst experiences (even if the food was ok - but nor great)

Ein wunderbares inhabergeführtes Hotel, mit viel Liebe zum Details eingerichtet. Freundliches und fachlich einwandfreies Personal, das zu jedem Zeitpunkt dem Gast ein gutes Gefühl vermittelt. Das Essen war pfiffig und schmeckte sehr gut.

Wir waren mit dem Hotelservice sehr zufrieden. Das Frühstück hat nichts zu Wünschen übrig gelassen und das Abendessen war auch hervorragend.

Wir haben uns von Anfang bis zum Ende sehr wohl gefühlt. Zimmerausstattung ist super, es ist alles vorhanden. Alle 2 Tagen wird das Zimmer gereinigt, was für uns prima ist. Es gibt ein Hotel-App mit Informationen und Tipps. Wenn wir was benötigt haben, konnten wir immer zur Rezeption und die haben uns sofort weitergeholfen. Im Restaurant und Cafe Clara gibt es sehr viel Auswahl sodass wir das Hotel/Restaurant und Cafe, jederzeit weiterempfehlen!
