We stayed here 5 days, to really experience the beauty and many attractions of the Trang An and Ninh Binh areas. We were so glad we did; it was a highlight of our 3 weeks in SE Asia, including a very relaxing stay at Trang An Retreat. Our host, Sam, was very warm, welcoming and helpful in arranging anything we asked for during our stay. This is a small, family-run business and all staff were kind and professional. The surrounding area is spectacularly scenic and peaceful, and the grounds are beautifully landscaped and well-maintained. As others have mentioned, accommodation is basic here - clean, comfortable and very budget-friendly. Food was quite good, if a bit limited. The spring rolls are delicious! Sam and staff speak English well, which was very helpful to us. They arranged a reliable driver for us on two of our days there. The stunning Trang An Grottoes boat trip is only 1 km away, an easy bike ride from the Retrat (they have decent bicycles available for free). I highly recommend this place for folks who want a tranquil, reasonably priced home base in the Ninh Binh area.

Questo resort è situato al piede di roccia di calcestruzzo, come una versione di terra di Ha Long Bay. È il più bel oasi di calma, situato in basso lungo la pista e caratterizza i tipi di alloggio chicco da cabine di bambù su stilti a bus convertiti! Le camere sono posizionate intorno a un grande lago e giardini paesaggistici che sono eccezionalmente ben tenuti. La stanza era perfetta - un sacco di spazio, tra cui un camicia e un camicia per vestiti, più grande bagno / bagno bagnato. La nostra cosa preferita era sedere sulla terrazza con un caffè al mattino e soffocare la vista, e anche piacere che ci fossero le banche picnic che si trovavano intorno al lago se volessi sederti e rifrire. Uno è il cibo... mentre ci sono una vasta gamma di opzioni di menu, penso che funzionerebbe a loro favore offrire meno ma di migliore qualità di piatti. Il colazione sarebbe anche vantaggioso da pasti freschi e opzioni di pane. In secondo luogo, mentre la piscina è assolutamente stupenda (è davvero un quadro perfetto che guarda il lago), ci sono solo 5 letti solari che, durante periodi davvero occupati, significa che non c'è nessuno per rilassarsi nel sole una volta che sono tutti presi Il hotel è situato vicino a poche città, tutte accessibili (e a buon mercato) con taxi che l'hotel può chiamare. Raccomanderò di rimanere qui per qualche giorno, è perfetto per rilassarsi e rilassarsi!

Un posto incantato, calato nel contesto di una natura a dir poco meravigliosa. Ma il vero valore aggiunto è sicuramente tutto il suo staff, formato da persone oltre che competenti, gentili, sorridenti, che ci hanno accolto e fatto sentire anche meglio che a casa. Il tutto è curato nei minimi dettagli, il cibo è delizioso e la spa ottima. Non c’è nulla che non vada, se non il fatto che purtroppo prima o poi bisogna andarsene. Un enorme grazie per avere reso il nostro soggiorno indimenticabile.

Bicycle are also free for rental and serve me well to explore the area Room was really huge and comfortable. Buffet breakfast provided is simple

Abbiamo prenotato un duplex, e questo è stato bello, ma vorrei che ci fosse un pantello e un'ampia struttura per un po' di soggiorno, dato il suo aspetto, il centro stesso era bellissimo e tranquillo durante il periodo di Natale. Buona colazione e cena è buona e ragionevolmente prezzi.

10/10 Detailed review from an American. Room: clean, modern, upscale. Western-style furniture. Spacious beds. Nice furniture, free toothbrushes and combs, lovely bathroom facilities. Noise level: PEACEFUL and QUIET! Relaxing, if you want to escape the city noise. It is the countryside after all. You can see water buffalo herds in the fields nearby if you take a walk outside the hotel. I can watch them from my hotel window. Staff and service: AMAZING! So friendly and helpful and honest hardworking staff. Won't cheat or scam. Use google translate if needed. Honestly the staff made our stay so good we extended the stay an extra day. Ask them for local recommendations (they don't get a kickback from any recommendations so its all genuine) Food: RECOMMENDED! Especially for travelers afraid of getting food poisoning or upset stomach from street food. Restaurant quality, home-cooked/cooked-to-order meal. Clean kitchen facility. Good prices, cheap. Made with love, the manager herself cooked a lot of the meals for us and they were delicious (for reference, im vietnamese-american so in my humble opinion, the authenticity is excellent and pleasing to a western palate as well. Personal Recommendation: Want a nice dinner thats still authentic? Order your food and eat outdoors in the cool of the evening, try the barbeque-it-yourself beef and goat. Delicious, hand-marinated quality beef cuts and goat, and they give you a little tabletop BBQ pit for you to bbq your meat just how you like it. Order some side dishes and its a great and fun family meal. If you want to and the staff aren't busy, they can bbq it for you if you want, but I think its fun to do it yourself. The location is out in the countryside but don't be alarmed because the hotel is a short drive from the main city center and tourist spots. The bad: - The beer is warm lol. They should refrigerate it. - Tip: if you ask for ”wine”, note that its vietnamese hard liquor, not the western understanding of wine (grapes). - There's a stupid rooster nearby from one of the local farms and it likes to crow all day. If you stay in the downstairs rooms you might be able to hear it, but if you stay in the upper floors you can't hear it. Would stay again.

Sono viaggiato per circa 6 settimane e questo è di gran lunga il miglior soggiorno a casa che ho soggiornato mentre sono qui. Le camere sono estremamente spaziose con A/C, la piscina è bella e la posizione è magnifica. Le donne che gestiscono questo soggiorno a casa hanno bisogno del suo paragrafo perché è fenomenale, sia che si raccomanda luoghi per andare o aiutare con qualsiasi problema di giorno a giorno che si può avere lei è sempre in mano per aiutare. Il nostro autobus da Ninh Binh era tardi, ma ci ha lasciato tenere la stanza tutto il giorno gratis per quanto era caldo, non solo questo, quando abbiamo lasciato ci ha fornito acqua e snack per portarci con noi. E' un credito assoluto al soggiorno di casa e non posso lodare questa gemma assoluta di un posto per rimanere abbastanza.

Uno dei migliori hotel in Vietnam. Non è stato il becco e finitura, a causa della gente di Reed... È stato fantastico soggiorno.Grazie speciali al renne per una fantastica abilità e comunicazione internazionali. La colazione è stata grande. Abbiamo ricevuto un buon benvenuto con un check-in precoce intorno al 12 .
