Hotel Les Deux Chevres Gevrey-Chambertin

We stayed 10 nights at Les Deux Chèvres and it was simply outstanding from start to finish. Our room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. Each morning began with a wonderful breakfast by the pool, overlooking the vineyard – a perfect and peaceful start to the day. But what really made this stay exceptional was the service. Sébastien and his wife were the most thoughtful and attentive hosts we’ve ever encountered. They helped us book restaurants, arranged wine tastings, shared local recommendations, and even made sure we had large coffees every morning – just the way we like it. Every detail was taken care of with genuine warmth and professionalism. We’ve stayed at many places over the years, but this one truly stands out. It’s the kind of place you long to return to. Highly recommended – with heartfelt thanks to the entire team!

Spent three nights at les deux chevres and it was not enough! The hospitality provided by Sebastian and Picard is difficult to match. The hotel lets you feel like walking into another era while still offering modern amenities. Gevrey-Chambertin's heart is meters away with food and wine that is as good as it gets. Looking forward to my next opportunity to visit les deux chevres!

What a gem we found in the middle of the Burgundy region. This boutique hotel which includes breakfast is so charming. It is nestled between grapevines everywhere! And the owner Sebastien, was so attentive and kind. He was so helpful with reservations and recommendations. He set up a tour and wine tasting in his wine cellar/cave! So much fun! Our rooms and bathrooms were beautifully decorated, spacious, very clean, so comfortable and newly updated. Breakfast was so delish offering a wide variety of French and American breakfast items. It is a 3 min walk to Philippe Leclerc Wine tasting room! I would highly recommend Les Duex Chèvre’s and would love to come back!

This former winery was an absolute delight to stay in. Our room was very very large and ever so tastefully appointed. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was large, had two areas to shower including a footed tub and it was the most tastefully decorated bathroom that I have ever laid eyes upon. The grounds were particularly lovely and there was a well-equipped kitchen for guest use. We could eat outside or inside, but the outside space was particularly lovely as it overlooked a charming garden replete with a variety of birds. Breakfast was a feast of cheeses, meats, cereals, fresh croissants and breads, cereals, yoghurt, fresh fruit, coffee, tea, juices, and so on. We were offered, and happily dined on delicious eggs each morning. Our host was helpful and very pleasant.

I've traveled all over the world and have stayed in many hotels, including five star and world renowned. This hotel checks all the boxes in such a wonderful way. From the initial warm greeting by Yolanda, the owner, to the lovely, well-appointed rooms and fantastic breakfast, this is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. We were in room #2; our friends were in #5. Both are the top category, and well worth it. The bathrooms looked like they were out of a home design magazine, with every detail so well thought out. The room was very comfy, with plenty of closet space and drawers, as well as good lighting. In the common area, there was a kitchen with a refrigerator and microwave, and dishes we could use, as well as constant availability of tea and a hot water carafe. Drinking water (as they have a water softener) was always there, as if by magic. We were thrilled to see our sheets changed the third day we were there; so unusual in this day and age. The breakfast was plentiful, with high-quality cheeses, yogurts, local jams, bakery items fresh every morning, cereals, toast, fruit, and the offer of eggs cooked any way you like each morning. The service was so attentive and efficient, so if you are on a schedule there is no problem. Breakfast is an extra charge, but definitely worth it. One of the best features of the hotel is its location, set in the vineyards in a quiet location just on the outskirts of the small village of Gevrey-Chambertin, away from the hustle and bustle of Beaune and some of the bigger towns in Burgundy. Without question we would return again, and highly recommend this exceptional property!

Beautiful village. Lovely room, well equipped and very clean. Breakfast a little disappointing. The shower had fabulous drenching power. Internet , as in most of France , was rather poor. Recommendations for local restaurants excellent, especially the clos au Napoleon in Fixin
