Hotel in ottima posizione nel centro storico. Comodo per visitare il borgo. Molto bella la camera vista mare. Staff molto gentile e disponibile. Apprezzabile la possibilità di prenotare il posto auto. Consiglio di farlo con largo anticipo.

We arrived at Saiaz Getaria at the end of a long day of walking along the Camino del Norte -- tired and looking for a good night's rest. We got that and much more. Our room reflected the historic nature of the building but with all comforts added. Staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly -- even going out of their way to take care of our laundry to be dry, folded neatly and delivered to us early the next morning. The lunch they packed for us was the best of our walking trip. The only thing missing was a second night stay which we'll try to do next time!

We made a reservation in this hotel bc it looked charming and they advertise as having parking available, which is a must for our journeys when selecting a hotel. What a surprise, we arrived and were told that there only 4 parking spaces and they were all taken. We were never advised of this lack of sufficient parking prior to our arrival. We were told to go by the beach or any street in town and park there, we looked in the surroundings and there no parking spaces, so we decided to leave and headed to Hondarribia. What’s upsetting is that they charge us for your room prior to our arrival and that the description of the hotel is so deceptive, basically THERE IS NO PARKING, neither in the city nor in the hotel. Very disappointing

Pictures cannot do this hotel justice. It is beautiful! The building, the bedrooms, the public areas and the staff are all superb. An added bonus, it’s only steps away from a gorgeous harbour, wonderful restaurants and pretty little streets. This is really one of those hotels where we stayed for two nights and wished we could have stayed on much longer. Thank you!

Lovely hotel on a cobbled street with an extraordinary view and super helpful staff. The room was great - spacious with a big bathroom, shower over bath, balcony with views over terracotta roofs, the church and sea beyond. Beds were good. The hotel was quiet at night. The recommendation for dinner was good. Provision of beach towels was much appreciated as there is a nice beach for swimming and after a long walk, lying on the beach and going swimming was ideal. Breakfast was really excellent with fruits, yoghurt, tortilla, bacon, cakes, pastries, good bread, cold meats and cheeses. Total for b and b was £138 which isn’t cheap but if a pilgrim wants to splurge this would be a good place to do it and I would return even if I wasn’t walking. The train goes to the village and it’s a sweet place.

We loved our stay at this beautiful & historic hotel!! The location and views were very special and my husband enjoyed a few surfs at the bay located next to the hotel. Getaria is a special town and there is a lot to do within walking distance of the hotel. Also, it is easy to catch a bus to visit San Sebastián. A big thank you to the awesome staff who went above and beyond,

This is an ideal small hotel. Perched above the quieter of the two beaches in Getaria, Saiaz Hotel has devoted great attention to its very characterful, attractive, and user-friendly interior, with lots of genuinely appealing common space including a terrace overlooking the ocean. The breakfast area, also overlooking the ocean, was bright and pleasant, and our room (did I mention overlooking the ocean?) was clean and well-appointed. Service from all the staff we interacted with was absolutely first-rate, and I should mention that they were also extremely helpful on-line when we needed assistance with restaurant reservations and some other general questions. Gracias especialmente a Boubacar! We'd never stay anywhere else- thank you so much!

My wife and I along with our adult son came to Getaria for one night to visit the Balenciaga museum and the accommodation at the Saiaz Getaria was perfect for our needs. It had two cosy rooms with a sliding door between the bedroom and the sitting room where a good sized single bed had been provided for our son. We left our windows slightly open with the electric blinds down and sleeping to the sound of the sea was wonderful. The staff were very friendly and efficient. Driving down the narrow street to the hotel front door and blocking the street to unload the cases is good fun.

OMG! This is the cutest, most intimate inn on a tiny narrow street with its back to the ocean! The receptionist, Georgiana, was the best!! She tried to help my husband park our car in the tiny space available in town until we gave up and parked on the street. At the last minute, she got us reservations at a family owned restaurant on the docks that served the best fish we ate in a month in Spain (and we are including Michelin star places!) Breakfast next to the sea was the topper. Make a special side trip to Getaria just to stay at this special place!
