Stayed at Ikamus for almost 3 weeks - every day felt as if I lived in the bush, a small village. It is calm, wonderful garden, small pool and recreational area with billiard and barbecue area. Ikamus provided breakfast and dinner, washed my cloth - I felt like a second home. Nicely located - not far to a gym, shopping malls, and a short ride to main sites in Johannesburg.

the staff at Ikamu's lodge were amazing, efficient, friendly and very helpful. arranging Ubers and even returning promptly items that were left behind in a draw. so very greatful.

Our two nights at this lovely lodge was really wonderful. The property is beautiful and gives the feeling of being at a private retreat in a far-off magical place. From the food to the comfort of the rooms, everything was simply perfect. The staff are friendly and attentive and really make you feel as if you can make this delightful place your second home.

Great spot to wind down and chill in nice atmosphere and beautifully maintained property + gardens. Very friendly staff and owner, delicious breakfast and top notch room service. 2 minutes by car from shopping mall in a safe neighborhood. My only suggestion is to install bug nets on windows and doors, mosquitoes were eating me alive at night!

Great place to stay at Joburg ! Géraldine and David are very kind and really helpful ! House is big and clean, bedroom are huge There is a place to do some gym and the outdoor are nice They proposed some tours and activities I totally recommand this place

Ikamu's lodge est un endroit très sympathique et calme où je me suis sentie très bien reçue ! Les chambres sont joliment agencées et confortables, le service y est impeccable. Les propriétaires sont très arrangeants et connaissent bien la région et ses animaux, ce qui rend le séjour passionnant, à ne pas manquer !

Fantastic stay, so comfortable and convenient, hidden gem in the city. Staff were wonderful, friendly and helpful. Stayed in the KTP Room and it was clean, comfortable beds, and the bathroom was amazing! I will definitely book here again! 😁

We enjoyed our stay the place is beautiful clean and serene, close to the mall if there's a need to do shopping, safe and the staff very friendly and made our stay pleasurable. Thank you for the amazing service and warmth we received from everyone

I stood there shortly but long enough to enjoy this pearl of south african bush into the city. The space outside left a feeling of peace and the decoration is warm. Without doubt we feel welcome and at home. The dinner was copious and delicious. Thanks !
