Pleasantly Surprised!!
My wife and I were happily surprised as soon as we walked through the front door! We quite often enjoy staying at Bed and Breakfasts as we travel across the U.S. But we weren't quite sure what to expect at a "Bed and Brewhouse." It was wonderful. And what I niche. After being welcomed by the very friendly owner/host, he asked if we liked beer. Of course! And within minutes he reviewed a couple brewed on site, and gave us a taste of both. We chose one which we thought was very, very good. Later I had another mug at no charge.
I'm not quite sure why a previous reviewer had a such an unkind, slim view of the beer. Possibly, he doesn't get out often.

Very unique place host was very accommodating, walking distance to riverfront and dining 1 block away . Definitely a great value

Amongst the top experiences I've ever had staying someplace while traveling. Stumbled across Baxter's and chose it for it's location which worked for my long distance bicycle tour. Little did I know that it was going to be a great experience along with the location. Small place with REAL personality. Baxter is funny, relatable, and so easy to talk to. The beer is excellent and available. Really worth a visit, just because.

We had a great trip at Baxter’s Brewhouse! It is a perfect location for all activities. We walked everywhere and were super happy! I would recommend Baxter’s Brewhouse for everyone. Loved that we could sample all the Brew’s while enjoying our stay!

Business Overnight
I had a wonderful stay at Baxter's Brewhouse.
The hosts were the most accommodating and would do most anything to make your stay the best it can be.

Quick get-away
Very clean. Free beer upon arrival! Comfortable bed. Continental breakfast. Two shared bathrooms, very clean. Multiple sitting areas. One block from historic downtown.

3bedrooms sharing a bathroom!. This was not disclosed on website listing. Also no TV in room.
"Breakfast" was a keurig, oatmeal, stale muffins & granola bars right outside bedroom door, no tables or seating to eat. Like staying at a frat house.

Brew and bed
The owners were very friendly and accommodating. The Beer was great! Room spacious and bed very comfortable. Definitely staying again .
