"Our group is a surgical team working for 1 week in Georgetown 4x/year. We chose Cara Lodge on the recommendation of the hospital’s Board Chair. Every aspect of our interaction w/all associated w/the Lodge has been outstanding. Reservations accommodated the team even with our changing room needs 3x! The food is delicious. All servers are pleasant and efficient! The rooms are just fine; clean, quiet, comfortable and a great shower! We are returning for our third visit in May and will do so for our Nov. mission. Other hotels were suggested as they are less expensive and closer to the hospital but all team members agreed that they feel safe and the staff is very responsive and accommodating and prefer to stay at Cara Lodge."

"HOTEL SHOULD ME CALL A MOTEL GOOD FOR A ONE DAY STAY..ARRIVED ON 8/6/23.LATE NIGHT JUST WANTED TO SHOWER AND GO TO BED WAKING UP NEXT MORNING DISCOVER DIRTY PILLOW SWEAT STAINS AND LIKE PEOPLE DRIBBLE ON PILLOW SHEET DIRTY STAINS ON SHEET.CARPET SMELL MOLDY BATH ROOM DAMP ..A/C NOT WORKING A LITTLE STAND UP FAN IN THE CORNER..TOLD THE MANAGER ABOUT CONDITION WAS TRANSFER TO A ROOM BELOW ON DAY TWO DOWN STAIRS I GOT UP TO A COCKROACH ON MY ARM.I JUST HAD ABOUT ENOUGH WITH THIS HOTEL (SHOULD BE MOTEL)..I ASK THE MANAGER FOR A THREE OR A FOUR DAY REFUND SO I CAN GO TO A REAL HOTEL TO NO AVAIL SHE REFUSE ..WHEN I GO OUT I DREAD COMING BACK TO THIS PLACE..O BEFORE I FORGOT .NO SAFE DEPOSIT BOX TO KEEP YOUR VALUABLE OR PASSPORT..NO PHONE SERVICE IN OR OUT TO MAKE OR RECEIVE CALL..NO WI-FI SERVICE..COULD NOT COMPLAIN TO JET BLUE ..RESTUARANT BREAKFAST WAS TERRIBLE..NO LUNCH MENU NO DINNER MENU..THE MANAGER DONT..THIS PLACE HAVE A CLUE ON MAKING DECISION OR MAKING THE RIGHT PHONE CALLS TO MAKE GUEST FEEL WELCOME AND AT HOME..THIS PLACE SUCK FOR A HOTEL..IT SHOULD BE SHUTDOWN AND GET RID OF STAFF AND MANAGEMENT AND START NEW AND TRAIN STAFF AND MANAGEMENT ABOUT SPEAKING TO CUSTOMERS WITH COURTESY AND RESPECT TONE OF VOICE ETC ETC..PLEASE DONOT GO TO THIS HOTEL (MOTEL)'' "

"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel, which has a lovely boutique feel throughout. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help, making the whole experience feel very personal. I was travelling with someone who has multiple allergies, and the team went above and beyond to accommodate our needs, which we really appreciated. The service felt genuinely attentive and thoughtful. The food was excellent, and the breakfast in particular was a highlight, with plenty of fresh fruit and a variety of hot options that changed daily. The lounge area was spacious and relaxing and perfect for unwinding. Our room was very clean, generously sized, and well-maintained, with bottled water provided every day. The beds were extremely comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep. The hotel is in a good location and we felt very safe throughout our stay.
