I have low expectactions, am easy going but this hotel was filthy. I got the old wing suite and the bathroom was just a mess. I spoke to front desk, one girl smiled . I had paid 400 dollars a night and she smiled like it was a joke. Service is so so bad. I waited 1 hour for a room change.

We loved the hotel, location and staff! We had such a relaxing stay and felt truly pampered. Will recommend it to all family and friends!

It was a great place to stay! Once you enter the room, you will see the scenery outside as if a piece of painting! The hotel itself can be an attraction with history. Highly recommended

We had a relaxing and memorable stay at E&O. Our room offers a sea view which is great and feel peaceful. Although the hotel is a bit old, it’s generally well maintained. Staff are always smiling and willing to help. They provide new towels and bottled water every day. Staff service at the breakfast buffet are excellent. Sunset was beautiful.

Superb view and gigantic room. Very good for families. Service is excellent and the char kway teow at the breakfast station tastes better than even outside stalls. Highly recommended.

Location is excellent and the hotel is the most iconic and historic in town. The sea view is wonderful, and the sunrise view as well. Breakfast buffet is excellent.

What an amazing hotel! 😍 I had a big room with beautiful decoration and a breathtaking sea view. The service team is very friendly and the breakfast was delicious. I would definitely book this hotel again.

Good staycation if you are going for chill and relax. Nice view from the room. Variety of choice for the breakfast buffet but too bad the Sarkies is under renovation right now.

The best choice for traveling to Penang. The unbeatable sea view is the signature of this hotel. The hotel facilities are well maintained, and the service and scenery are first-class.

I had a pleasant stay in E&O Hotel, the room is spacious with seaview. Overall, it was a good experience for me to stay in such a historical building. Everything is good except the swimming pool area tables and chairs need to be replaced as it looks dirty. Breakfast was great with variety of food choices.

I was stay in the hotel for 3days, the next day morning I went out before 9am, and was sure that I DID NOT press” don not disturb”. When I came back around 3pm was so surprised nobody cleaned my room, I went to the reception counter and ask JASON YAP, he explained that ppl clean room one by one and I must queue for it( the meaning is like this). I was so angry and disappointed this is the only one hotel give me this ridiculous explanation , I traveled around the world for many places, never receive this service at a 5-star hotel!!!!

Overall the service was excellent and the foods serving are really awesome with plenty of choices. We really love the environment and everything! Thank you so much. 😊
