1500在國內二三線可能衹能住到普通的酒店？但1500人民幣在檳城酒店裡真的就是拔尖的價格了。我覺得是基於這個房型的價格，所以到了這個地方很失望，儘管在預訂前就做好了這是個民宿的準備，但實際情況跟它的價格完全不匹配（滿腦子都是攜程是不核實情況的嗎）。幾乎沒有的隔音、廉價的地毯、發黴的電蚊香…原本定了兩個晚上衹住了一晚就換到了之前住過的另外一家。

We stayed at 88 Armenian at the Mackenzie Suite for 6 nights and the service we received was very warm and friendly. It felt like home away from home. The room was also very comfortable. We had 6 different types of breakfast during our stay too!

We enjoyed George Town and staying in the immaculate Revere Suite on the top floor. The people in the hotel were so professional and kind. The bath butler treats were lovely, breakfast and dinner food was delicious and cleanliness top notch. Some feedback to make the hotel even better…simplify the lighting and very cold a/c system and add some thick block out curtains so noise and light doesn’t filter through from the atrium. I think for older visitors, a peaceful hotel without constant music is a draw card. Other than minor quibbles, a great stay! Thank you.

Excellent location in Georgetown. Walkable to many attractions. We stayed 5 nights at 88 Armenian and thoroughly enjoyed the bath butler services, the sumptuous breakfast which never repeated, and kind hospitality of everyone at 88 Armenian. A lovely gem in the heart of Georgetown which we can't recommend enough.

A lovely boutique in the heart of the artistic quarter. We were immediately impressed by KC Tan and his teams attentive service. Nothing was ever considered a problem or out of reach. We stayed on the top floor. The room was well appointed with good quality Gessi bathroom Brassware and an oversized comfortable bed. Aesop products are included which adds a special and personal touch. We will return again soon, and we thank the team for their impeccable service during our stay.

Fully enjoyed our stay at 88 Armenian! The hotel is strategically located near to many sight seeing places, room is so comfortable, spacious and luxurious! Service is implacable! We would definitely stay again the next time we visit Penang and would recommend anyone to do the same. Try and you will know.

We had a great stay at the 88 Armenian! Great location and interesting building. Highlights were the bath butler, the breakfast, and the handwritten notes and treats from the staff. (Yes, you can really ask for a bath to be ready for you upon your return every evening!) We found the stay so relaxing and enjoyable that we framed one of the "good night" notes from the staff above one of our nightstands.

To the many lovely boutique hotels in Georgetown, 88 Armenian is a new jewel to add to the collection. Converted from a burnt out shop house, the owner and architect has spared no expense to make it stand out. Pros: Good sized rooms. Great beds, linens, pillows. Stand alone bath tubs with a bath butler menu. Spacious bathrooms with double sinks and large shower stalls. Lovely lighting. Super efficient air cons. Good breakfast sets. Superb staff service. Good location. Cons: Super efficient aircon. It's really cold and setting it higher only sees it revert to the coldest setting when the electronic lights settings are changed ( several times a day and night). Noise seal could be improved as people in the corridors and downstairs dining can be heard. This didn't bother us too much after 10pm as the hotel is quiet by then. Hangers in the Bartholey Suite are difficult to use as they are fixed into a high hanger that vertically challenged will have difficulty reaching. We also stayed in the Mackenzie Suite which we liked.

Small boutique hotel right in the center of Georgetown. Gen and her team take extemely good care of their guests, small but very nice breakfast, changing on a daily basis. Rooms are equipped with all modern amenities (complementary mini bar, coffee machine, Netflix etc.) but maintain the colonial charme of the original building. Great experience!
