We stay in big executive' room with a huge bath tub with great view. Location is next to Gurney Plaza. It is our must stay hotel when we visit Penang

Nice location and friendly staff. Enjoy my stay at this hotel only downside is the breakfast every days the same ..if they can change their menu will be perfect.

Great hotel for close proximity to Malls, FoodStreet, Beach Coast walks etc. It has very couteous n professiinal customer service with a kindest smile that warms your hearts each time you past them by. Aboveall, rooms and amenities are well design, fresh and clean too. Such a comfortable outstanding place to welcome every guest. This is my second time here. There is so much creativity in their food offerings in and buffets specials every weekend too. Its really a go to hotel with reasonable pricing of a 4 star hotel. I will be back the next visit to penang.

Frankly not impressed by this hotel. The only good thing is the location. There was no housekeeping at all during my two nights’ stay. Left hotel early in the morning on day 2 and when I came back at 5pm, the room wasn’t cleaned at all and towels were not changed. Rubbish wasn’t cleared. Had to call the front desk a few times to ask for fresh towels before it came. Towels looked old and not white. And the front desk even tried to ask me if I turned on the “do not disturb” sign (basically trying to give excuse) but I told them I turned on the housekeeping sign so clearly they didn’t do their job at all. Even the food tray (from room service) outside my room wasn’t cleared. Things seem to be breaking down too eg. kettle didn’t work, lifts not working. Bottom line - won’t consider staying here again.

Location was great. Buggy service was thoughtful . Breakfast variety was quite good. But I can’t imagine such a nice hotel using such worn out towels . Not just 1 face towel even the bath towels are all very worn out dirty looking not white in colour. The hair dryer was full of dust not cleaned before . Should look into these issues as it really affect the imagine of the hotel.

G Hotel Kelawai is an excellent choice for a stay in Penang. The location is perfect, conveniently near the big shopping mall Gurney Plaza. We were greeted with a welcome ice cream upon arrival, which was a nice touch. The rooms are spacious, well-maintained, and comfortable. The staff are incredibly attentive and friendly, always greeting us warmly when we returned to the hotel. We requested extra water, and it was delivered promptly. Overall, a fantastic experience—great job, G Hotel Kelawai!

Fast check in. Deluxe room is spacious, clean and with comfortable bed. 5-min walk to gurney plaza on the left and gurney paragon on the right. Easy to move around by grab. Staff is friendly and helpful. Really like the welcome ice cream and happy with stay. Will return.

Walking distance to Gurney Plaza but if you lazy to walk, there is buggy service from hotel to Gurney Plaza.

It’s our maiden trip to Penang and I honestly did not have much expectations but our holiday was off to a GREAT start right from arrival. while we looked at photos and write-ups prior, the room was so much larger than we thought. the King bed is 3m wide which is much more spacious than what we’re used to back home—wonderful for us cos we were travelling with a 4yo. We also hadn’t realised that our room came with lounge access for evening drinks + snacks so that was a nice surprise. The view on the rooftop was breathtaking and we had some really nice photos taken. Guests also get to access the sister hotel’s facilities, which is a short buggy ride (or walk) away, so that was another pleasant surprise. the pool at G hotel Gurney was more varied and fun for the child, so that was another plus. breakfast spread is also really good. If we were to come back to Penang, i would not hesitate to stay with them again.

The staffs were very polite and friendly. The room was clean and we had replenished free drinks and chocolate every day. Close to 2 malls which made shopping bd eating easy

This is our returning stay and we are glad that we were given an upgrade to a Premier Room. It is very spacious and we particularly enjoyed the Executive Club perks offered. We can even utilise the facilities at G Hotel Gurney.

Will come back again 💞

Oooo ... I so love this hotel .... location is great and room is clean .... Service is also fantastic.... will definitely stay here again if I go to Penang ...
