Hotel in zona Parc du Soleil, Ginevra

Stavo due notti. Benvenuto. Accettatevi. Camera pulita. Camera leggera ma bene. Cassaforte, asciugacapelli, doccia, AC, TV, ecc., tutto in ordine. Caricatori telefonici in camera. Non molto di una vista di fronte al giardino, ma non importante per noi. Felicitati con la scelta. Ottimo posizione. Solo dieci minuti a piedi dalla stazione ferroviaria. Niente troppo lontano a Ginevra. Non ho fatto colazione. Rimanerei. Per informazioni - Tutto è costoso in Svizzera, quindi apprezzate la carta di trasporto gratuita per autobus e tram.

Abbiamo soggiornato cinque notti in due camere interconnesse alla fine di un corridoio, con una piccola zona cucina, che ha funzionato bene per la nostra famiglia (due ragazzi due/adolescenti) e ci ha dato una buona base di valore per esplorare la città. Abbiamo confrontato il costo con Airbnbs e l'hotel è stato un'opzione più economica per noi, che è stato impressionante, poiché Ginevra non è una città economica. Il personale è stato utile e ci sono molti posti vicino a mangiare. Ginevra è una città compatta e l'hotel è dotato di un passaggio gratuito per i tram e gli autobus che abbiamo usato un po' per andare in giro. La lavanderia vicino alla porta è moderna e conveniente e ci ha aiutato mentre viaggiavamo molto leggeri. L'hotel era tranquillo, anche se c'erano alcuni lavori di costruzione vicino che iniziarono presto la mattina, quindi se fossimo stati dormitori leggeri potremmo aver bisogno di orecchini.

Molto bella, pulita e confortevole. Si può camminare dalla stazione principale. Ristorante e supermercato sono disponibili e alcuni sono aperti fino alle 22:00. Ci siamo davvero goditi la nostra visita a Ginevra.

L'hotel è a circa 1,5 o 2 chilometri dall'aeroporto, puoi prendere un autobus dall'aeroporto all'hotel, ma dopo le 23:00 non ci sono mezzi di trasporto generali e devi prendere un taxi costoso o camminare. Oltre al disagio di andare e tornare dall'aeroporto a tarda notte, in realtà è comodo viaggiare in altri orari: la stazione del tram della metropolitana leggera è nelle vicinanze ed è molto comodo per raggiungere il centro di Ginevra. L'ambiente e l'igiene dell'hotel sono molto buoni.

Struttura situata a circa sette minuti di taxi dall’aeroporto e fuori dal centro comunque facilmente raggiungibile con i tram 14 e 18 che si prendono entrambi a 50 metri dall’hotel e con solo 15 minuti ti portano in pieno centro fermata Bel Air da dove si è già ai piedi del centro storico e sul lago. La struttura si presenta rinnovata da ristrutturazione ma ritengo molto disorganizzata e certamente da migliorare su tanti aspetti. Le camere sono più che comode con letto matrimoniale king size purtroppo non sistemato all’italiana ma con i piumini a sacco. Bagno comodo con ampia doccia dove ovviamente è assente il bidet, mancano inoltre le ciabatte che per un 4 stelle è grossa pecca e nel frigo non ci sono bevande se non una bottiglia d’acqua che fanno trovare sul tavolo all’arrivo. Purtroppo lascia a desiderare la pulizia ed ancor peggio il secondo giorno non avevano neppure fatto la stanza per poi pulirla (in 10 minuti!!!) su ns richiesta intorno alle 18,00 e lascio spazio all’immaginazione sul livello della pulizia effettuata. Colazione sia di dolce che salato accettabile e con svariate proposte. Personale più che disponibile sia alla reception dove all’arrivo abbiamo trovato un ragazzo che parlava pure italiano molto propenso a dare info, simpatici e disponibili anche in sala colazione. Check In e Check out troppo lenti e seppur con poche persone in attesa questo dovuto dalla presenza di un solo operatore, situazione che abbiamo notato anche nei gironi del ns soggiorno. Ritengo comunque sia una buona soluzione per chi vuole spendere parecchio in meno rispetto alle strutture in pieno centro anche per il semplice e veloce collegamento con il tram quest’ultimo come i bus si possono utilizzare totalmente gratuiti facendosi consegnare i biglietti alla reception che valgono per tutto il Vs soggiorno.

The Geneva Marriott is an attractive, contemporary hotel located roughly near the airport, and since the shuttle doesn't run that often, you might be better off making the walk, as I did. For me it was a matter of some 20 minutes, but depending on your starting point at the airport, it could easily be less. Much closer to the hotel is the quite large Balexert shopping mall at 7 or 8 minutes' walk. The center of town can be also be walked to, as the way is rather straightforward, though it is noticeably farther than the airport, making the trams that stop very close to the hotel an option. Of course you will have to ask for your free Geneva public transport card, as the hotel makes no mention of these at its own initiative. I liked the fact that I was offered a late checkout immediately on arrival. I didn't like hearing that breakfast is available to platinum Marriott Rewards members in the executive lounge only, a marked departure from standard practice elsewhere in Europe - not just at Marriotts, but also, for example, at their large American competitor also located near the airport. As it was, when I was ready for breakfast on the morning of my one-night stay, it turned out that something had gone wrong and as a consequence, breakfast was offered only in the restaurant. The assortment there was between good and very good, which I'm sure wouldn't have been the case in the lounge. The lounge had already disappointed the previous evening. I went shortly before 18:00 just to make sure that food would still be available when I was expecting to have the time, just after 19:00. The employee said yes, but there was virtually nothing left when returned; she might have had the courtesy to mention that they would stop replenishing dishes, but this would have required some thought from the guest's perspective. The gym was not so great, either; from a large and modern Marriott I'd expect better. All in all, acceptable, but if breakfast in the lounge is as meager as I suspect, then I would probably not favor this property.

This is really close to the airport and easy to get to on foot even with snowboard bags and suitcases! We used for an overnight stay before travelling onto final destination. It was exactly what we expected for the cost. The room was tiny, but clean and functional. We had a double bed with a single bunk over, clever use of the space. Our only complaint is that it was incredibly hot with no way of cooling other than opening the window, which slightly cooled, but you are right next to the airport so there are obviously numerous noises. There was air con gauge on the wall, but it didn’t work. It was unseasonably warm so maybe the heating for the building just hadn’t adjusted? The heater in the room was off, but the whole building appeared to be hot. Would recommend for short overnight stay if using airport.

Questa soluzione a Ginevra ci è molto piaciuta. Hotel grande, nuovo e pulito Arrivando in auto c'è un comodissimo garage interno sotterraneo Il personale alla reception gentile e professionale Il tema dell'hotel sono i fumetti: ogni piano ha la sua caratteristica La posizione, non centrale, è però molto comoda perchè (oltre al parcheggio interno) proprio di fronte c'è la fermata di un comodo tram (biglietti inclusi nel soggiorno) che in pochi minuti porta in centro città Il quartiere dell'hotel ”Carouge” è carino con diversi ristoranti se si vuole rimanere in zona Camera spaziosa, silenziosa e comoda La prima colazione servita nella grande sala al piano terra e accontenta tutti i gusti, anche se c'è una strano modo di servire il vassoio scegliendo alcune cose con l'aiuto di una cameriera Nel complesso consiglio questa struttura Forse il costo è un po elevato, ma in Svizzera è la normalità

I needed a hotel for one night, as my friends were picking up the next day to head to the ski resort. I took the 66 bus from the airport that drop me off six minutes away from the hotel. 45 min bus fr Geneva city centre. Lots of construction in the area. Pleasant hotel, lovely common area, very modern . The room has a kitchenette, which I found pleasantly surprising as I got to make tea and porridge in the morning. The toilet room is separate from the shower room, but that's OK, very spacious, and would love to stay there again .
