Hotel Seespitz Seefeld Superior

You will not be disappointed by the Seespitz. It has a super lakeside location, every modern convenience (with Tirolean charm) and terrific staff. For this level of personal service and quality - prices are extremely reasonable (in my opinion at least). The range of activities available on site means you could realistically never need to leave the hotel but that would be a mistake. Seefeld itself is an extremely charming place to spend time, with (again) lots to see and do. All of which are included in the hotel’s daily newspaper, delivered at breakfast. Speaking of breakfast - what is the food like? Breakfast is astonishingly good: there is almost too much choice. All breakfast items were of the highest possible quality. The same commitment to quality extends to the six course dinner. We didn’t book dinner for the entire duration of our seven night stay, as we get a little overawed eating like this for seven nights. We did book dinner for four of our seven nights and had zero complaints. In fact, I’d go as far as to say that we could have gladly just eaten the spectacular starter buffet (a simple “salad buffet” it most certainly was not) and magnificent cheese selection and still have been happy. Both breakfast and dinner were taken in the main dining area but you do have the choice of eating “a la carte” in the bar/lounge area from 1200-1600. The drinks we had were absolutely superb but sadly, the food could be a little hit or miss. Our room (319) was simply perfect. Lots of space, great balcony with views over the lake (covered in ice and snow in winter - obvs). The comfortable sofa was a great place to sit and relax and I “paired” my phone to the excellent Bluetooth speaker with ease. The bathroom was equipped with excellent facilities, as well as quality products. Having the toilet separate from the bathroom was good. Speaking of which, a visit to the toilet at night requires a torch (or e-reader in lieu of torch in our case) as the blackout curtains are so efficient, the room is pitch black. The Seespitz is an excellent hotel that is modern, yet still retains that almost undefinable Tirolean charm. I thoroughly recommend it.

My sister and I stayed for three nights and we experienced absolutely exceptional customer service. We felt like family. We had booked to stay in an apartment elsewhere in Seefeld but found it unsuitable. We visited Seespitz to inquire about room availability and were immediately welcomed with the warm, friendly personality of Olena. Olena organised a welcome drink for us while she prepared our check in. Olena also organised with Michael to take us back to our original apartment to collect our luggage. I was floored by the hospitality. Our rooms were upgraded to lake view rooms and, my goodness, what a view of not only the lake but of the incredible mountains. Breakfast each morning was the best I’ve ever had in a hotel. Everything was fresh, delicious and there was such a variety. The waitstaff were very attentive and made sure everyone was comfortable. I’ve never had such fantastic service. The wellness spa area is beautiful. Swimming from the indoor pool into the outdoor pool in the rain was awesome. The sauna was lovely too. I highly recommend this hotel as the facilities were amazing but the staff really took this hotel above and beyond expectations.

I spent one lovely week with my husband in Hotel Seespitz at the end of October. Hotel has a great location near everything but was still peaceful. Hotel was clean and everything worked well. First the negatives: The outdoor pool was not 32 degrees as promised. They tried to fix it and it got warmer but still not as nice and warm we are used to. Food: Breakfastbuffet was great, surely something for every one plus the portions from the list. Also the buffet at the dinner was great but the portions were kind of disappointment. They were not bad but they were kind of bland (the "Sauerbraten" on Saturday tasted as it looked, dry and no taste at all). There were some good appetizers, main courses (great pasta food) and delicious desserts though. And to be honest, it is not for the culinary delights why we travel to Austria. It is the mountains and the people there. People were also the great positive asset of Hotel Seespitz! The staff was absolutely great, both at the reseption and in the bar and restaurant! You should be proud of such a staff! No question was too much trouble for them. We rented e-bikes by the hotel and they were ready, charged and washed, if needed, waiting for us every morning in front of the hotel. I got to keep the same bike whole week and when the saddle was not in order for my husband, was it changed for the next morning. So all and all a very good hotel with great staff and perfect place for e-bikers!

Nice rooms, comfortable beds, lovely waitstaff, but humorless aggressive management. We received multiple lectures and passive aggressive notes from the manager of the hotel during our week long stay. Despite the lovely hotel setting, many in our group felt that we under the uncomfortable gaze of an unhappy headmistress rather than guests of the hotel spending large amounts of money.

Our second visit to this fantastic hotel. Beautiful location, great activities for all ages and brilliant friendly staff who go to great lengths to ensure your stay is comfortable and relaxing. Nothing is too much trouble! All of the facilities are excellent and the pool and food are spectacular. We highly recommend and will be visiting again soon!

An amazing hotel in a wonderful setting. Seefeld is situated on a 1200 m plateau, has infinite possibilities for recreation, lots of sunshine and wonderful views of mountains. We saw it all, including the lake, from our windows and terrace. The two very best things about this hotel are the swimming pools, especially the outside one with heated water, and the excellent cuisine. The hotel is all done in very good taste and the staff are perfectly friendly. If you want luxury and beauty, this is a hotel for you!
