Le letti erano molto confortevoli e il motel è a pochi passi dal fronte idrico Geelong. È anche molto vicino all'ufficio di autobus Gull così molto conveniente per arrivare e uscire dall'aeroporto di Melbourne.

Stayed at Riverglen Holiday park many times and always clean facilities and friendly staff and boy didn't we get a shock when we booked in again, this time for 9 nights on a powered site to find that TASMAN have taken over the park and what a disgrace it is. The communal park facilities were not cleaned prior to our arrival and grass was all over the floor, the showers and toilets were not cleaned, the bins not emptied, very little toilet paper and there was something growing in the hand wash that defied any sort of hygiene. In this day of Covid still being very active in the community and absolutley no cleaning practices evident we had no choice but to leave this park after suffering very unclean facilities for 4 nights. We did advise management of the conditions of the facilities and got told that they would get to it when they hired staff. Not really good enough when we are paying top price for the use of clean facilities. We have asked for a refund of the 5 remaining nights we booked and paid for siting unclean facilities and we have not yet received any money from them. They gave us a written assurance that we would receive a refund and supplied a mobile number that is not connected and after over a week still no refund and calls not being returned. Shonky all the way in my book. We strongly recommend that you go next door or somewhere else! It is with a heavy heart that I write this under the name of Riverglen, we will miss that park.

Sono venuto a fare un viaggio di lavoro, ho prenotato il Parkside Motel, perche' era solo 10 minuti a piedi per lavorare e le foto della stanza online sembravano belle e pulite. Da l'esterno non era molto attraente, ma la ricezione e la stanza che ho soggiornato erano pulite e tempeste - cosa si aspettava da una stanza tipica del motel. La prima notte era buona, ma la seconda mattina mi sveglio a metà della notte per vedere che la mia porta era aperta e la catena di vibrazione all’interno era stretta alla capacità. Sapevo che la porta era chiusa prima di andare a letto e le porte erano aperte da una chiave di stile più vecchia, in modo che non si potesse usare una carta di swap accidentale. Sono andato a controllare la mattina dopo, perché mi sentivo incomodo rimanere lì per il resto del mio viaggio (avevo altre 2 notti). Lindy, il capo/proprietario, si è immediatamente arrabbiato e difensivo, mi ha fatto sentire piccolo per voler andarmene, dicendo che non avrebbero offerto un rimborso; non c’era empatia o cura di ciò che è successo, invece erano arrabbiati e in qualche modo cercavano di incolpare me. Ho chiamato Wotif, che abbiamo prenotato per consigliare la situazione di cercare di recuperare i nostri soldi, e hanno detto che i soldi sarebbero stati restituiti una volta che il motel aveva confermato che ho controllato e perché (ho detto a Wotif cosa è successo). Wotif si rivolgeva a loro per consigliare loro di non poter restituire i soldi, come Lindy aveva negato la mia ragione di andare a controllare, dicendo che non gli ho detto nulla e che ho semplicemente controllato.

We wanted somewhere central and comfortable to stay for a couple of nights, but not a motel or a house. This was the most appealing, looking at the web site. We found it to be very comfortable and cosy. Everything was very clean, the kitchen was nice and modern and stocked with some nice teas. King bed was really comfortable, with interesting marine artefacts above and the heating was great. However, the shower was just warm enough and the water from the bathroom tap took ages to heat up. The bathroom was nice and large which was good as usually we find them rather small. An extra ledge to put things in there would be useful. There was some noise from trucks overnight, but it is opposite a hospital. The bathroom door is rather unusual - large, heavy and we were curious as to why as we'd never seen one like this before. We were able to walk to dinner at a nearby hotel bistro. We enjoyed our breakfast out on the porch in the lovely courtyard. We really enjoyed our stay.

Excellent front-of-house service, our room was spotless and the heated indoor pool ans spa were divine!!! I recommend this place highly. A perfect base for exploring Geelong's attractions and visiting family. Lucy's Locket is a great place for breakfast or brunch after a blissful night's sleep and early swim at the Best Western Geelong Motor Inn.

La camera era ben progettata, ma nella parte della camera, quando le porte sono chiuse, nessuna aria condizionata poteva accedere a una notte incomoda, ma la cosa più incomoda era il letto. Un letto di marshmallow non mi ha dato alcun sostegno e quindi un dolore di ritorno. Una notte, quando ho provato il divano, mi sono sentito molto più comodo, ma poi ho iniziato a pensare all’igiene e ho pensato di poter ottenere un occhio rosa o qualcosa del genere, e mi sono ripreso a dormire più amara come un letto.
