Hotel a Gedling District, Regno Unito

Set in lovely grounds this imposing building is full of history but like some many hotels of this age needs a big face lift. The only modernised area I came across was the toilets just off reception. The Main bar area with leather bound (not certain if faux?) and chesterfields is a lovely place in which to sit and relax with a drink. Looking up there is a balcony which is walked along to reach the bedrooms thereby offered a different perspective when looking down. I booked a king room with breakfast and asked if could have a nice view, and was told there were only a couple of rooms with poor views anyway so I need not worry?! Well the room we had number 14 had four small windows looking out on to the rear of the hotel. And the view included a heavily wooded area of wheelie bins - so much for the view; in hindsight we should have asked for another room. The first morning the breakfast was a 'help yourself' and all of the food was just warm - not hot. The coffee poured from a jug was also only warm. However on the second morning my full english was cooked to order and very tasty, but again the coffee was only warm. This was remedied when I asked a waitress if she would change it. The room was spacious though and the bed comfy, shower adequate and tea and coffee facilities acceptable. Staff were helpful and generally cheerful. Lastly it is no longer run by Best Western. A very interesting place to stay if visiting Nottingham and not too far to drive in to the town.

Necessitava di un punto di fermata conveniente da Surrey a Chestefield, una notte, per un funerale. Posizione ideale. Nonostante la vicinanza a M1, il rumore stradale non era eccessivo. La decorazione generale è un po 'cansata' ma tutto era pulito, fresco, servizi di caffè/tea. Avrei preferito la radio che fosse montata dal lato del letto non da tavola in tutta la stanza (!). Freeview TV abbastanza adatto per una notte ........ La camera da letto era enorme (suggerisce che in alcuni casi sarebbe raddoppiata come una camera di famiglia) - e forse avrei potuto portare il mio cane con me, in questo caso lo spazio extra era grande. Per la funzionalità non può essere fallita.

Si tratta di un hotel della catena che fornisce servizi e strutture standard. La stanza è pulita, grande e silenziosa. Il bagno è pulito ma un po' vecchiotto. La colazione è impressionante. Tutto il personale è giovane, disponibile e cordiale. La posizione è buona, a 10-12 minuti a piedi dalla stazione di Nottingham. Il prezzo è buono C'è un bar al piano terra se hai problemi di sonno. Alla reception è stato allestito un bar con acqua rinfrescante che è impressionante. Il check-in si effettua tutti i giorni alle 15:00, sarebbe meglio se fosse possibile anticiparlo.

Il posto era comodo ma l'hotel è relativamente costoso per la qualità che abbiamo ottenuto. Il bagno era come quello di una nave da crociera e la bottiglia per il bagnoschiuma era vuota.

Fantastico soggiorno. Personale estremamente amichevole, soprattutto. John e Dominic che lavorano dietro il bar. Le camere sono favolose, docce sorprendenti. Sicuramente consigliere questo hotel se si viene a Nottingham per un viaggio.

Il hotel è un hotel a buon mercato, con un buon servizio, senza problemi, e non è un'altra persona che si trova vicino alla porta, ma non è colpa dell'hotel. Molti scaffoldati fuori al momento della visita, ma nessun rumore di notte e nessun rumore da fuori, anche se era mezzo settimana e la stanza che si trovava lontano dalla strada

Molto buono, buon personale, un po' lontano dalla città, ma molto tranquillo e buono per dormire.È anche bello camminare per il lago.

Il personale mi ha fornito un servizio molto buono (come al solito) e mi ha fornito un riscaldamento aggiuntivo quando ho riportato che la stanza era un po' fredda (probabilmente la mia colpa per non essere in grado di lavorare con aria condizionata/calda!) La stanza è molto comoda, l'esperienza di soggiorno non è buona, le strutture sanitarie sono anche buone, in generale è relativamente soddisfacente, il servizio di ricezione della ricetta è anche molto entusiasta, cioè uscire dalla collina è un po' stanco.
