La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Garland Harbor Point

This LaQuinta is always great. It is well-kept and rooms are nice - beds very comfortable. The staff are always welcoming and helpful.

Good find The hotel is undergoing renovations but it did not affect our stay. Clean comfortable and easy access to everything. 1 light was out in the room but it was only a minor inconvenience. Moderate road noise from the highway next to the property. Mild unpleasant smell at night.

Pros: full breakfast, friendly staff, quiet neighborhood, dollar general was a walking distance, easy check in and out process. Cons: they’re doing renovations which we didn’t know about till we checked in. There were 2 hairs left in the bathroom from the previous visitor. It had a weird smell but I think it came from the carpet (which they are in the process of removing). They charge an extra $100 for deposit that will go back to your card in 3-7 days. And the pool was freezing cold!!! Why have an indoor pool if it’s basically going to be like taking an ice bath. We only book hotels with pools so we were disappointed that we couldn’t swim.

Two Thumbs Up My only complaint was the banging we heard going on upstairs. It sounded like construction & was very annoying when trying to sleep. Other than that, I'd definitely stay at this hotel again. Very friendly staff.

Not good This hotel has become quite run down in just a few years. The rooms are dirty, dirty, dirty. It’s not the same hotel it was when we stayed there in 2020.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. I had no issues during my stay. The staff was vey helpful in assisting when I decided to extend my stay.
