Westbay Resort & Spa

Stayed there for one night with family. The property is beautifully located by the beach, great sea view from the room. Food is delicious. The breakfast spread is great. North Indian , South Indian and continental, every item on the menu was perfect. Highly recommend. Only issue I had is, they ask 100% advance payment when booking, saying it is the holiday season, which is not the industry norm. I booked 4 different properties in the same week and everyone took only 50% advance when booking. This needs to change.

Considering the various bad reviews of other properties near Ganpati Phule we chose this place. Positive : Good location & good food.Good view from the room of the sea. Place is well developed and still seems to be under construction. Outside Restaurant area has a premium look. Lot of activities e.g shooting , swimming , gym Can improve: The family suite is on the ground floor of the 2 storey place .The worst thing is their housekeeping is on the same floor as the family suite and other rooms . A lot of things are kept in front of room , this all give a feel of Hostel rather than hotel or resort rooms. Whenever you open the door you see house keeping personnel keep moving around ,this might make you a bit uncomfortable.Housekeeping area should be separated for resort rooms. Food is good but seems pricey.Breakfast spread is wholesome. The worst thing is they have placed a placard “ Parking at Owners Risk “ which is very surprising as the area is under their custody . The planned property is very steep , you need to walk upstairs a lot to access the living space this might be an issue for old people . Though they have an access road , but it is makeshift.

The view from the room and pool is excellent, sadly all good things end there. Rooms are small. Restaurant serves average food. Cleanliness is an issue, bugs in the room and flies in the Restaurant. Services are slow. People are not always polite. Will not visit again

One of the best hotel I have visited till now. The receptionists were really helpful and friendly. Great staff who knew how to serve the customer. The room was well equipped and the service was excellent.food was very tasty fnb staff was very helpful

This is undoubtedly one of the top Hotels in Ganpatipule, previously known as Abhishek beach resort. It has one of the best views of the beach from its balcony (Sea View Room). It is 1.5 km from the town and 200 m from the beach. It has a direct access to Abhishek beach by steps. The property is well maintained. Swimming pool, play area for kids, Spa are some value additions. Room service is prompt. Wi-Fi is free but connectivity is a little varied. Dining is at the Waterfront Cafe which has a superb food and bar menu. If at all there are any flaws, the location and views from this Hotel supersede whatever is lacking.

This is an ideal resort in the Konkan Coast for those who are looking for a peaceful retreat away from the crowds. The beach, a short walk from the resort is one of the best I have experienced in India! The Resort offers 3 decks for outdoor dining overlooking the ocean which is an absolute treat! The Staff at the reception were always most helpful in accommodating your needs - and the staff for dining always so hospitable. They even remember your preferences if your staring longer than a week. Thank you to everyone at Reception - Nihal, Mandar, Siddhika, Nayna, Thank you so much Vikas, Prathamesh and Sudhir for great dining service and a big thank you also for the dependable and excellent car service offered by Abhay and Surya who showed me so many different parts of the Konkan within 2 to 3 hours drive from the resort! I look forward to revisiting for a longer stay next time!
