Misleading: We specifically looked for a pension with a terrace and Rooftop Moonlight seemed to fit the bill since it stated "terrace" and showed photos only of rooms that have a terrace. What do you know? We arrive and no terrace. Just a fixed window. The room: It's a good size but a little sp**** in terms of furnishings. The bathroom, in particular, lacks storage/shelving. We kept our toiletries off the wet floor by balancing them on the cistern. Despite plenty of space in the main living area, the staircase is positioned in such a way that it intrudes into the headspace wanted when cooking at the stove. Not a deal-breaker, but poor design. The proprietors: Friendly and attentive but control the room temperature remotely. We stayed during daytime temperatures of 30 degrees yet they switched on the underfloor heating so we baked on our first night and slept badly because of it. Only after calling them the next day did we get the heating switched off and receive a remote control unit for the air-con. The price: 100,000KRW is a lot per night for an unremarkable pension out of season. We were prepared to pay that much only because of the promise of a terrace directly accessible from the room; a terrace that we didn't get. For an extra 15,000 KRW, we were able to have a barbecue on the rooftop. Whether or not there was moonlight on the rooftop, I don't know, because the sky was obscured by a plastic canopy. Overall, it wasn't the accommodation we had hoped for and our misplaced expectations were due entirely to the room being being falsely described. I imagine the proprietors enjoyed our stay more than we did.
