RH Bayren Hotel & Spa

Gandia|4.42km dal centro città
The entire staff is very helpful and always tries to ensure that the customer is advised in an understanding manner. It has bikes that you can rent 8 euros per day. This is a great way to cycle around the Gandia area,as it has very good cycle paths. The hotel is very clean and well maintained. For those who like seafood and fish,it's a first-class gourmet meal. Otherwise,it always has pizza and pasta and fresh vegetables and one or two types of meat and saladbuffet. As well as a delicious dessert buffet. The breakfast buffet has everything it needs. Nesspresso coffee,as well as conventional coffee, also diffrent types of milk and fruit juices. Common breads normal. The room was OK, little space for clothes. In the bathroom only a sink, you can put a few toiletries. TV channels 3 in German, the rest in Spanish Communication in the hotel mainly in Spanish, little in Englush or Italien. No problem with the translator in the mobile phone. The beach a dream. Very wide and great for swimming in the sea. Per couch 6 euros the parasol 6 euro. The seafront has many restaurants, mainly seafood and fish. Alsi it has a burger king and a mc donalds. From Valencia Airport to Gandia you have to plan 1,5 to 2 hours travel time by train, metro and taxi. From Valencia Airport, Metro 3 or 5 to Xativa 3 euros per person. In Xativa take the renfe train. There you can buy a card from SUMA, with which you can make 10 trips. Cost per person 9 euros. Goggle for more info. The taxi from Gandia to the hotel costs 11 euro. The climate in the Region Valencia is very humid and warm.

Hotel Cibeles Playa

Hotel Borgia

Gandia|0.41km dal centro città
We stayed a few nights in Borgia when in Gandia. Prior to arriving, the hotel was responsive to queries, though only in Spanish! Location was excellent, around 15 mins walk to the train/ coach station & near the main promenade, with easy access to dining options. The hotel facade & lobby itself looked nice but the room was a bit worn, especially the table tops which were peeling & off putting. It was great to have a balcony facing a few bars & cafes but it was a tad noisy at night so thankfully we had some ear plugs. There was ample storage space but the desk surfaces & drawers were quite dirty, as if they hadn't been cleaned. There was a fridge in the hotel & a safe in the wardrobe but no key. A bottle of water was given compliments of the hotel on the first day. Toiletries were in small bottles which was not environmentally friendly & they didn't replenish these on the second day so we had to request some at reception. The person at reception didn't speak English so we had to rely on Google translate 😁 Breakfast was served from 7am on weekdays & 8am on weekends. There was a selection of hot & cold food, fruit, yoghurt, pastries & bread. The hot food was lukewarm to cold & wasn't anything exciting but the chorizo, fried eggs & chilli peppers were welcome. The fruit looked like they were abandoned & were mostly not neatly sliced like some pictures suggest. They were often bruised & the sliced pineapple looked like it was almost off when it was served, with black & brown spots at the edges. Pastries like the croissants were soggy rather than crisp; bread rolls weren't bad, & the peach jam was lovely. The toaster took forever to brown anything & coffee didn't taste great. Juices tasted more like cordials. In short, breakfast wasn't great but we did manage to fill ourselves up before our daily excursions. All in all, the stay at Borgia was good. It provided a good base for us as we explored the area. There are other accommodation options at the beach area but the base in the centre allowed us easy access to transport to Denia & when we travelled from & returned to Valencia.

The hotel is small but quirky. We had a superior room which provided us with a roof terrace which had 2 sofas and was partly under cover. There were roller shutters as well as a toldo and a super efficient air conditioning unit. Unfortunately the advertised coffee making facility was not provided and we never got it during our 4 night stay either. There is no fridge in the room but a small one in the reception area for everybody to use. We were a bit disappointed that there was no small table included next to the armchair. That would have been useful. Also there were no shelves in the wardrobe. A double wardrobe with 4 clothes hangers but no shelves nor drawers is a bit puny. Entrance to the front door and your room is via a code which is an excellent idea. The hotel was very quiet even though it allowed dogs. The location is a short stroll from the harbour and beginning of the promenade and there are a number of restaurants and cafes, panerderias and a Más y Más close by. All in all a nice budget hotel. When you go to restaurants nearby ,note that they open quite late in the evening (7.30 at the earliest) and ask for prices up front. We ordered a bottle of house wine for a certain price only to be told after a while that only the more expensive one was available. That happened in 2 different restaurants The cafe at the corner does lovely tostadas for breakfast, it is just across the road. Several eateries in a side street leading to a plaza also more or less across the street from the hotel Superior room on top (4th) floor with high ceiling (lift stops at floor 3) is spacious with a lovely terrace If you bring your dog, you pay a deposit of €30 at the beginning of your stay, which will be returned provided your dog hasn't done any damage

RH Bayren Hotel & Spa

Hotel Borgia

Buona pulizia e sempre in attesa.
