We, my husband Nimal and I booked the hotel for 2 days and my daughters' families stayed there 1 day. We arrived at the hotel on the 12th of May 2025. We were warmly welcomed by the Reception of the hotel and accompanied to the restaurant for the welcome drink. After a few minutes, our butlers, Manisha and Niduka accompanied all of us to our Floating Premium water cabanas which are faced to the lakeside. The rooms are spacious clean and comfortable. All necessary amenities were available in our rooms. There's a good spread at the restaurant and the staff was very friendly and supportive. Foods were fresh and delicious! We all enjoyed the real experience provided by the bullock cart ride to Gami Gedara and and the pottery making with clay. Our kids were really thrilled in engaging in pottering, feeding and catching fish. Kayaking is really enjoyable highly admired the service 😉 😄 Greatly appreciate the professional support and cooperation extended by Lakshman, Pradeep and Neelaka! Manisha and Niduka provided us a commendable support throughout our stay. Thank you for your kind service. Our stay in your beautiful resort is unforgettable ❤️ ♥️ 😍 We highly recommend this hotel and hope to visit again.

The concept of the hotel is amazing! We really enjoyed the world class service. The service staff at the restaurant and front office were great. The best was my kayak tour with the life guard who pointed out various interesting birds and the concept of building the place. The agriculture sector was great too and we enjoyed the glasshouse concept. It was lovely to sit in the balcony and enjoy a tea while looking at the lake. View of the sunrise from the rooftop is amazing

We spend a very good star in Bolagala Agro Floating Resort for a Day. The hotel is splendid worth beautiful floating gardens. Their staff is very friendly. We had a wonderful time with beautiful nature and food was delicious Good space for activities. Satisfied stay. Environment was pretty and well maintained. Special thanks for the Organic Vegetable Gift.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel!! The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly,from the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcomed and ensured that everything was taken care of ,also the rooms were clean and comfortable and we enjoyed all the meals... It was a new experience since it's a floating hotel and I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable experience!!!

Our stay in Bolagala was a unique experience! From the warm welcome, to the explanation on how the hotel was built, the nearby village's history, the experience of sleeping in a floating room, the hothouse in which fruits and vegetables are grown in a hydroponic environment (you'd choose the ones you'd want the cook to prepare a meal with!), the waking up early in the morning to witness nature at its best around the lake... everything was beautiful, calming, mesmerizing... The food was very good although late but this is a common experience we had all along our trip in Sri Lanka :) Bolagala is a beautiful place to stay in and I recommend it vividly!

I found this is a unique experience from other hotels that I have visited. The agricultural theme blends with the hotel environment is a fascinating experience for my kid as well. The calm and quiet waters around the cabana is refreshing. Lot of animals birds around the premises and there are activities like fishing, feeding fish, kayaking all included the room package. In the room there is a separate fruit basket and sweets to enjoy. All the vegetables for the meals are from the cultivations around the hotel premises. They are fresh and tasty. The food selection is limited but the portions are huge and fulfilling. We have enjoyed our food and appreciate the freshness. The staff id super friendly and helpful throughout our stay. When we checked out, they have gifted us a nice bag of fresh vegetables to take with us. I feel they need improvement in their bar facilities, food varieties and publicity. Access roads are bit difficult, but worth the trip. Overall a refreshing and relaxing experience. I would recommend the hotel for a visit.

It was a very nice stay, they provided us both early checkin and late checkout Very calm environment, friendly staff, tasty foods, food portion size is also good, excellent facilities, everything was so great and it was one of the best stays of mine This place is an ideal for friend groups or couples.

The stay at Bolagola Floating Agro resort was amazing .The peaceful and serene enviroment with a calming ambience was more than what we expected in the stay. The staff elevated the experience as they were incredibly friendly and also by providing us the suitable necessities in a timely manner. Also i would like to convey my special thanks to the front desk manager Mr Sampath for his enthusiasm. Besides these the Village tour was incredible and educational.Finally about the food and cuisine we enjoyed our breakfast as it was packed with delicious delights but we were slightly disappointed about the dinner as it only had a small variety of food and as a suggestion we would love if the management team included more varieties of cuisines but overall the stay was fully worth it and we would love to revisit the resort again and this is a good recommendation for anyone finding for an unforgettable holiday experience.

Had a nice experience.. Really this concept of village house, bullock cart, Mr. Korale and floating rooms is very excellent. The food is also very delicious. Very clean. The room is also the same. I got the best service from everyone. It must be said. The best taste you get when you come to the hotel. A piece of cake and a drink, sweets and fruit basket in the room are also a nice welcome. It was fully equipped..Thank you very much for the bag of fresh vegetables picked from the farm when leaving the hotel. Everything was fine.♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
