Il San Luis Resort e Spa è il migliore 8n Galveston PIRIOD!!!! Ogni volta che porto la mia famiglia, restiamo sempre qui e ogni volta che superano le nostre aspettative. Tutto è molto gentile, attento e sempre vuole andare il miglio extra per voi. In questa particolare viaggio siamo venuti qui perché era il concorso di danza nazionale di mia figlia, così come il suo compleanno e sopra quel compleanno di mia moglie e io, e quando facevo il check-in ho menzionato Connie al divano front e lei ha suggerito E' un'operazione di N8CE per mia moglie e mia figlia. Connie e Camille il concierge si occupava di tutto, hanno avuto una dozzina di rose rosse e strawberry copertura in cioccolato per mia moglie e un torto di compleanno e un piccolo mazzo di fiori per mia figlia e mi hanno fatto sembrare il migliore!!! Grazie tante Connie e Camille, ragazzi sono grandi!! . Voglio ringraziare anche tutti i TH3 Resort, tutti i ragazzi del Vallet Parking erano sempre gentili, la cameriera alla piscina. Mi dispiace non avere i nomi, ma erano grandi anche. So che potrei essere un po' più costoso, ma dico sempre: ”Tu hai quello che hai pagato e quello che è più economico finirà molto più costoso!”

My husband and I walked in to this beautiful establishment after having a bad experience at a local B&B. From the time we walked in on September 19th until the day we left on September 25th we were treated like family. Everything was perfect! We even received a special gift on our anniversary! We would like to thank Lila and Caitlin for making our anniversary special especially after our bad experience elsewhere. Their kindness made our day and brought joyful tears. I might add they were always there to answer any questions we had with smiling faces! These two ladies are awesome! Thank you!!!! We would definitely recommend staying here.

Albergo bello, stanze ampie e confortevoli. Spazi ampi e luminosi, piscina, SPA e altre amenità. Sicuramente adatto alle famiglie con bambini. Buona la posizione a circa 15 minuti di macchina dal centro storico. Personale gentile. Pulizia non sugli standard europei per un albergo di questo tipo, ma il linea con gli standard del sud degli USA. Macchina del caffe' in camera. Un po' disorganizzati: abbiamo preso in pacchetto che includeva anche la cena e lo spettacolo di Natale e la festa della luci. Nessuno sapeva come rilasciari i biglietti per le varie attività (in teoria avrebbero dovuto arrivare per mail). Poi alla fine siamo riusciti a risolvere usando la mail della conferma della prenotazione, ma è stato un po' complesso. La seconda sera abbiamo cenato al ristorante, ottima la qualità del cibo, ma abbiamo aspettato quasi un ora. Decisamente troppo. L'ultimo giorno non abbiamo potuto fare colazione perché erano sovraffollati e dopo 15 minuti di coda hanno ”chiuso” dicendo che si doveva aspettare un'altra mezz'ora perché non c'era abbastanza personale. Noi dovevamo partire e quindi abbiamo dovuto rinunciare alla colazione. Questo è veramente inammissibile in un albergo di questo tipo.

The room we were given was on the 2nd floor right next to a room being remodeled. The first two days had jack hammers removing all the tile so loud you could hear it in the lobby so you can imagine how it sounded in our room from 8 to at least 5 both days. Went to the front desk to complain and the girls first response was ”You want to check out!” In the most hateful tone. I said no because we had plans for the rest of the week and other friends were in the same hotel. I asked if there could be some type of compensation for the noise and she then said ”Who are you?” in the same hateful tone with a bonus look of disgust. She left to talk with the manager and was gone several minutes only to tell me there would be no compensation but”you can move'. Thus was tempting since our ocean view from the balcony was of the top of the covered entry to the hotel. I asked to speak to the manager, she was gone even longer and passed me off to the bar and food service manager, Chris, who explained the manager wasn't there. Chris was very professional and sympathetic, took notes, offered us free lunch, and drinks and said she would give the info to the manager...never heard from the manager and nothing else was done. As a side note, the TV was fried when we moved in and had to be replaced. The maintenance guy was quick to respond and replaced it with a brand new tv. The chiseling stopped by day 3 but constant hammering continued for 2 more days as late as 7 in the evening. We come here every year....our group numbering 11 thus year, will definitely be looking for a different hotel. Worst experience ever!

We were a guest who was fortunate enough to not stay in GRAND GALVEZ .But decided to dine in Monarch Restaurant after looking at the hotel review.The reservation was at 9 pm but we got there early about 8.45pm. We were greeted by a lady in the host stand. She offered a table option (banquet or a table) we took the banquet. We were seated there,I took a look around there was no one in the restaurant except us. It took 15 min for someone to comes to our table. My husband order for a bottle of rose wine. Which to my surprise the bottle was already open. I'm a hospitality professional too. So when the bottle was brought to me the label was already open. We were not even asked if we actually wanted still or sparking water. We were served two water. The rose was served to me as my husband was going drinking. My husband wanted lemon wedges which literally took 15min to get to table,Neither I was offered a taste before serving. Nevertheless the server asked if we need anything else. And we were ready to order. But she left and came back after a while. We order for the catch of day (Red Snapper for me and my husband opt for a grilled chicken). While we were waiting for the food to come. My husband noticed that the table was wobbling. We still ignore but the wobbling got worse. The server got our food we were so excited to try to food. The first bite I took what I saw was a prawn that was not deveined. I kept it aside. The grilled chicken was completely burnt out from the bottom and still it was served. We didn't wanted to make any scene so we started eating. The server came back to check if everything was fine. I did mention about the prawn. After a while she came back to two piece of prawn as complimentary. It so embarrassing as I expected at least a manager will come by so that I could asked for a table change as it was getting difficult to eat in a wobbling table. I never wanted a free or complimentary prawn. After a while the host came back to check we did mention about the table. To my surprise was she took a napkin asked my husband to push himself aside and stuffed a napkin underneath. It was so shocking that the whole restaurant was empty and we was not offered a alternative table. To my notice I could see that have set up the table for breakfast so I assume that any other was not available for us. It was so disappointing that we literally felt that the staff was treating us to be less capable of having to afford to eat the restaurant. To add up to all this we had flies in and around our table and fruit flies in and around our food too. To be honest I didn't wanted to take a single bite of the foot anymore. Myself and my husband left our food half done. After all this we wanted to just leave and asked for the check. The server did not even bother to check why we barely touch our food. The server and the lady who sat us brings us a cheese cake for my birthday and apologize for the inconvenience. It was evident that the restaurant close at 10.00p
