這個酒店在非常隱祕的山路之上，很多突出車都不太好找位置嘛，確實是不是很理想，但裏面的環境還算是非常不錯的，非常的具有原生態。

We had an excellent stay in this historic Dutch admiral's house from the 17th century. Most agreeable was the very welcoming and efficient staff, totally committed to our needs. The room we had was giant with a private patio and leading to the well maintained large swimming pool. Breakfast was delicious and included in the price. They are continuously refurbishing the whole place but discreetly, hence it's a very quiet boutique hotel. Highly recommended

Such a shame. Beautiful building steeped in history but run down beyond belief. We moved out after one night which was a shame. Some aspects were downright dangerous. I had to keep my foot on a plug so my wife could dry her hair. The AC is incredibly noisy and old. The grounds are generally kept in pretty good condition but the pool area is horrible. I will attach a picture of the view. A picture of the rubbish below. The check in was really just weird. You do the niceties and then are asked what do you want for dinner tonight! Menu? No, we don’t have one. You’ve just arrived and have no idea of your surroundings! Just wrong and quite intimidating. We were the only people who eat there that night, not a sole about. The service was over attentive and the guy just watched us have our meal. Very claustrophobic. If you do stay, eat in Galle.

Just stayed at Tamarind Hill and the service we received was way above our expectations.. All the staff without exception were friendly, helpful and couldn’t do enough for us.. The building is beautiful with lots of colonial character and history with a really nice pool and is situated about a 5 min toktok ride away from Galle Fort which was great as it was much more peaceful than being in the Fort area.. The food was exceptional…. definitely can’t beat the Sri Lankan chicken curry… If you’re looking for a hotel that offers incredible service this is the place.

This was our first time at Tamarind Hill and definitely won’t be our last. What a gorgeous hotel! Has a very old world charm and the decor of the hotel was simply delightful. But what was just out of this world was the service! Everyone from the manager to the chef to all the hotel staff we encountered, it was Sri Lankan hospitality at its finest. And the food, oh my goodness we had the most delicious Sri Lankan breakfast and I could just sit there all day eating that! Every dish that we ate was truly a piece of heaven and the service that went along with it made this experience so memorable. The breakfast was soo good that we skipped lunch and dinner and savored every morsel of the breakfast! Hotels can be great, the food can be delicious but what makes the place that much more appealing is the service and Tamarind Hill has all of that plus a fabulous staff who will make sure your every need is met and the experience is one to remember!

Very friendly staff. The pool was nice and the pool boy was very friendly and told us about the monkeys in the trees, that we saw while swimming. The breakfast was delicious and big, and the building and garden were beautiful. We enjoyed our stay very much.

was managing a wedding at the venue and the staff was absolutely amazing and was very hepful and specially Mister Dilruk whos the head of sales and marketing and his entire staff of the hotel who was on full throttle at the whole event. Huge thank you to the entire team for making the event a success and this is a definiete go to location for your next trip / function. Also dont forget to check out that serene silent swimming pool as well :)

Service is not great at all. Food is very average and it wasnt a pleasent experience for us. The Staff is not attentive to our request and we felt like we were ignored. It was our first stay at this hotel and we dont think that we can recommend this place to our friends

WOW What a stunning looking place. It is a little out of the way down a rough lane but as soon as you are let in through the gates, you arrive at this fabulous old mansion with only 10 rooms and 2 suites upstairs. Our room 5 was to the other side of the grass and pond area, very high ceilings, large bed and dark furniture, everything you would expect. The pool area although small was wonderful and the food very tasty.
