酒店還是比較漂亮的，服務很熱情，房間很大，就是床比較高，女士可能上下會略微麻煩點，但酒店整體還是很美的，值得推薦，位置比較好，衹要在古城沒位置都很好因為古城不大

Everything about this hotel is splendid….from location to rooms food drink staff and all management. Our 16 nights stay was intended as a relaxing holiday and we certainly had that with the excellent service we received from everyone. George and his team kept our rooms (had upgrade after 8 nights) pristine…. cleaning them twice a day. Saneda and his team created extremely tasty dishes which were delivered by the efficient friendly waitress and waiters…who couldn’t do enough for us. Management made sure our stay was as comfortable as could be with the added efficiency in organising any trips etc. for us. To Kareesha we are sure you will go onto a great well deserved future in hospitality…..well done.

Located on the iconic place Galle fort , the Galle Fort Hotel is one of the most legendary hotels in the City of Galle. Refinement of different art pieces and elegant architecture the Galle Fort Hotel meets elegance simply. The famous Restaurant and the welcomes guests to savor dishes at any hour of the day with the calm music. The dishes were delicious and it’s more than what we expected with their excellent customer service. Its sumptuous pool elevates well-being to an art form. Last but not least, the Galle Fort Hotel is the best place to enjoy a delightful dinner with your loved ones.

We dined & drank at the Ropewalk bar on our first evening in Galle Fort and it was one of our highlights. Our waiter Pasindu deserves a special mention as he provided amazing recommendations for both food & cocktails as well as being a warm, genuine and incredibly attentive host. We can’t wait to visit the bar again & hopefully stay at the hotel next time we visit Galle Fort.

We were welcomed to celebrate new year with the staff. Lots of fun games! What a wonderful spot. Such a tribute to the history of Sri Lanka. Our room was incredibly large. We did want to close the shutters, as we were right at pool side. The central pool court is a lovely as all the pictures show. Food was delicious and service was great! Wish we could go back and stay again for a longer time. Perfect location to explore. We biked in and toured around on foot.

Galle Fort Hotel offers a conveniently central location in the heart of Galle, making it easy to explore the area on foot. However, it's important to adjust your expectations to the local context. Sri Lanka, while charming, is still developing, and this is reflected in the accommodations. The hotel has about 12 rooms, and we stayed in a loft suite. Unfortunately, the layout was less than ideal, with a creaky staircase leading to the bed upstairs. The room itself was decent but dated. Despite this, it was comfortable and served its purpose. The highlight of the hotel is its pool, which is quiet and easily accessible for guests. We only tried the breakfast, which was satisfactory and served in a pleasant setting overlooking the gardens. The staff, particularly our morning host Dilon, were polite and helpful. Overall, Galle Fort Hotel has potential but could benefit from some tender loving care. With time and investment, it has the makings of a great accommodation option as tourism in the area continues to grow.
