Staying at New River Trail Cabins is a great experience. This is our 3rd time to stay, we have tried a different cabin each visit. You are at a cabin yet still so close to town and restaurants. Mary & Lee go out of their way to make your stay the best ever. We hated to leave, be back soon!

Very clean and comfortable. Easy access to the bike trail and the river. There is also a tub in the middle of the living room. Plenty of parking and near many restaurants. The trail leads to a train depot that sells ice cream. The quality of the cabin is really nice

Such a great place to get away and enjoy nature don’t change anything absolutely beautiful thank you for a perfect trip. Great place for biking, hiking , and walking. Just a truly amazing experience to unwind and be a part of nature.

I am not sure you can beat these cabins. They sit right on the New River bike trail and are creek side with a great porch with rockers and a gas grill. You are about 2 minutes from downtown Galax. These places were spotless! The owner and staff were great and there is a great outdoor sitting area with a huge fire pit! You will not be disappointed, that is for sure. Guy and Lynn

This place is awesome! The cabins are right on the river and New River Trail and couple of minutes from town. There is a central fire pit where guests can gather. The place is super clean and have a fireplace and gas grill. The little kitchen has everything you need. The staff is alway very friendly. This is one of our favorite places to get away from it all!

This was our second visit to a New River Trail Cabin and it was perfect again. We cycle, so the location is perfect—right on the trail. And the cabin is clean, cozy and has everything we need. Close to downtown Galex also, so shopping restaurants and music are right there. Can't wait to go back!

I loved the cozy cabin, but my husband thought it a bit rustic (?). Very clean and so very convenient to the New River Rail trail, which was our reason for being there. No shampoo or soap provide and could use a larger trash can than the only one in the bathroom, but overall, I loved this cabin.

Absolutely lovely cabins - nestled among towering sycamores along beautiful, burbling Chestnut Creek - make this a uniquely wonderful getaway spot. And, everything is tasteful, well appointed, and absolutely immaculate - thanks to gracious, low key hosts Mary, Lee, and friends. This gorgeous little resort has a loyal and dedicated following, so do plan to book ahead...

This is the most pleasant place on earth, we enjoy our stay here very much. The cabins are clean and private, the New River Trail is right there for bike riding or hiking. This was our second trip here, and we are already talking about when we are going back again.
